Strange, exactly the opposite this review:

Excellent keyboard

With this netbook, Sony has moved away from the isolated key style it often uses; yet despite a tiny amount of flex, the keyboard provides a fantastic typing experience that's both fluid and intuitive.

i have done a bit of research and the sony website says it will take a max of 1gb of ram only, pretty poor really:oops:

I work in a Sony Centre store so I pretty much know this netbook inside out.
Firstly, the keyboard on this is bigger and better than the W-series VAIO's because it's easier to type on
2)heavier in weight 1.4kg as opposed to 1.2kg,
3)track pad surface isn't quite as smooth and feels alittle tacky imo
4)left and right click mouse buttons need more force to press down and feel clunky
5)quality of the webcam is pretty bad
6)screen resolution is lower
7)matt finish for the screen meaning you'll get alot less glare which is infact a good thing
8)battery life is lower, 4.5 hours
9)only looks good in black in my eyes =p

I much prefer the W series... except the keyboard which has stupidly small keys as well as the unreasonable asking price.

maybe i confused this one with the w series

Don't think its a very good deal, your really paying for the badge here. With the W-Series it can be argued your getting the 1366 x 768 screen and isolated keyboard for your money, but with this M-Series the spec really is just the same any other netbook on the market.
