its just a dual core with basic specs.........
worse thing about these all in one jobbies, if u need a new board or psu , u might as well bin it, as the spares are horrendously priced......... expect to pay £ 200 + for a sony psu ( and yes, nothing else will fit )

im sure shops cant do this. distance selling should overrule this, but when they have your money, the ball is in their court no matter what the law is.
With regs to the deal, its a lovely machine, just like buying a laptop to be honest. More of a fashion icon than a performance pc, but it will still work nicely.
Good find.

It is cheap for a Sony with a reasonable spec, but any potential buyers should make sure that there is some form of decent warranty available.

If you want to downgrade it to XP, Sony absolutely f-ing suck. I had to do a Vaio and their online site accepted my serial and that but said there was a problem with my details. Not what but just that there was. After a ton of hunting I managed to find out on a forum what the MB was so I could find the SATA drivers to install XP otherwise it can't see the SATA drive (and the bios is so locked down you can only change the boot order and the time). Had I not had a USB floppy, this wouldn't have worked. In short, if you want XP on it, avoid Sony. Decent TVs and audio, horrid PCs.
