Seems like a good price to me. Plus you can get a further 5% using this voucher (5500AW) making it £570 and then almost £20 through Quidco (3.5%). Final price just shy of £550. Not many reviews out there but what i have read are good.

The sony is the same price at DSGi but its cheaper on comet with the voucher currys do have a 5% voucher but they are charging £649.99.
think this good price for a sony - which are always priced at the top end. Its only really comparable with the studio 15 above with the build quality and g card and its 50 quid cheaper !!
with the build quality

Ah... that old Sony chestnut, it's all about the build quality!
Years ago I used to be suckered in by that sort of tripe until I learned better:-(
I've always found the screens and keyboard on the sony vaios I've used to be really good and reading the reviews other seem to concur on this model.
Specifications on Sony VAIO site for anyone who wants a more descriptive listing than Comet provide.

Shame it's not the Blu-ray equipped version for the same price.
