The W200i is another handset from Sony Ericsson's highly successful Walkman range. The main feature of the W200i is the in-built Walkman media player which allows you to listen to your favourite tracks and watch video footage in various formats. Added to this is the Mega Bass music feature designed to cater for different musical styles

Build quality on the Sony Wxxx range is shocking.

3 people in our office had different versions of these and issues ranged from random crashes, to not being able to switch the things on, crap touch sensitive screens (on the touch sensitive models, of course), and more.

I also know of 3 other people who've had nothing but problems with these.

OK as a spare phone, but I wouldn't want to rely on it.

Where did Sony go wrong? In the 70's and 80's they were a name for quality :(

Your talking cr*p mate - I have had a W200i for about 2 years and its been bomb proof
as my user name suggests I do building work and I have battered my poor little phone for
those two years, filled it with dust & rubble and it still carrys on regardless.

As with most products there are always rogue ones - but anyone thinking of getting one
of these don't be put off the users comments.

excellent keys for texting to.
