There appears to be a lot of great 12 month free line rental deals at the moment, but this one looks particular good!

W810i is a fantastic mobile, everyone that I know who has one loves it! The price plan offered here is also excellent. Don't forget there is profit to be made via Quidco cash back! :-)

Sony W810i Black with Free Bluetooth Headset
12 months FREE line rental saving £420.00
Line rental is £35.00 per month. Monthly allowance which you can use anyway you want. Flext 35 gives you £120 allowance for £35 per month, equal to 600 mins or 1200 texts. You'll receive £420.00 cash back from The Mobile Outlet, paid in five equal instalments of £84.00 at months 4, 7, 9, 11 and 12. You will need to send off your monthly bills at each stage and include your original despatch note with your first claim.

Mobile Outlet are also offering various other mobiles on the same price plan which you can view from their homepage, such as Samsung X820 and Samsung E900 etc!

Unfortunately for me I took out a deal only last week and asked for my number to be ported which is due to take place on Sat, I purchased it from buymobilephones.net and if possible I'd like to return it under the 7 day return option and cancel the number port, does it anyone know if this would be a problem to do as I'd really like to take this deal and port my number on this?

Cheers,
G

HUKD Cashback Guide

TheMobileOutlet Terms and Conditions

11.3 If your cash back entitlement is more than £201 for a 12 month contract, you have to claim your money back in a 5 stage process. This cash back offer is conditional upon you complying with the exact terms of this clause. The steps in point 11.1, 11.2 only apply to contracts where the cash back entitlement is £200 or less. To claim cash back in cases where your entitlement is £201 and above you need to comply with the following 5 stages listed below. If you do not comply with the exact terms of each of these stages you will loose your entitlement to your cash back. If any one stage is not complied with, you will loose your entitlement to claim the whole of the cash back. If there have been any late payments made on your account at any time this will result in your application for cash back being void.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the relevant documentation reaches us within the relevant period. The stages of claiming the cash back are:

1. In month 4 of your contract you will need to forward bills 1through to 4 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 4.
2. In month 7 of your contract you will need to forward bills 5 through to 7 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 7.
3. In month 9 of your contract you will need to forward bills 8 & 9 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 9.
4. In month 11 of your contract you will need to forward bills 10 & 11to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 11.
5. In month 12 of your contract you will need to forward to us bill 12 within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 12.

11.4 Any cash back queries after 14 days of order must be forwarded to "][email protected]. The customer service team will not be able to help with any queries after this point.

11.5 You must include your original dispatch note with your first claim for any cash back application to be successful. If your order is submitted without your original dispatch note your cash back application will be void.

From experience this seller is unreliable giving cashback
#3
Yep Im Gonna Second You On That, Ive Had A Very Very Bad Experience With This Company Never Received Cashback Even Though It Was The Merchants Fault. Stay Away!!!!!
#4
From experience I have never had any problems claiming cash back although I have not used this retailer yet! If you meet and follow the terms and conditions then it shouldn't be a problem, that's where most people fail.

If you have met and followed the terms and conditions and they don't pay up them simply open a small claims case at https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk

I don't think anyone can argue that the deal isn't great, so rating it cold based on problems people have had claiming cash back seems unjustified!

If you have opened the Box and inserted the Sim card you will NOT be able to return it.
The 7 days DSR will only apply if you return it as it was received. Unopened and unused.

Where is that stated? I have read through the documents they sent and that isn't stated anywhere and reading http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources/resource_base/legal/distance-selling-regulations/ suggests that I can return it even if I placed the sim card in the phone :?

Thanks!

I remember another member having a problem trying to return a mobile because it had been opened.

0.3. All items must be returned as they were received with the original packaging and full contents included along with original documentation and proof of purchase.

Give them a call and see what they say.

They should accept opened box as long as every content is there but 'may' charge a re-stocking fee :)

I successfully received cashback, no problems at all.

Off Topic....

Oh yes, the old 'restocking fee'. I got charged 25% of the purchase price by a merchant for a £300 item plus return postage. admittedly ordered it in error, so my bad, but £75 to pay a kid to put it back on the shelf? And if other administrative costs are incurred, how can they justify applying them as a percentage of the item value? This is clearly just a way for web based retailers to counteract the distance selling regulations. There should be clear and fair limits applied to this 'fee'. There, I said it.

I really want the w850i, but the cheapest at the moment seems to be c£14pm fromn e2save. Do you think it will come down in price soon, or should I settle for this phone, as it does seem a bit if a bargain.
#12
I've got a current contract with MobileOutlet. When I joined the cashbacks were at month 6 & 12. Got my 6 month one so far, but did take a couple of emails and they were a week late making payment.

They are only 20mins drive from me so would happily deal with again.
#13
They do seem to be getting better and have someone answering questions over at MSE.

I'm really humming and harring on this one. is exactly the tarriff I wanted to go on too. How long have this company been about?
#14
If Ducky reckons he's had cashback then this deal is for me.

The W810i seems to be an exceptional phone. I have the k750i but the joystick is playing up which is it's only fault as far as I can tell. The joystick has been replaced with somthing better on the W810i so for me it's a must...

Funny no-one has mentioned the amount of Quidco which is £30 cashback for EACH sale.

Also if you choose to call the sales line instead of using the internet remember to use the "say no to 0870" number: 01274 587070.
#15
Duck - did you get cashback from these people?
#16
I gotta say that the deal is one of the best, if not the best 12mth free deal going that i have seen. Having said that, i've had no personal experience with the company and they do seem to have the most stringest cashback terms of all the sites offering such deals, although it's quite explicit what you need to do so in theory should be straight forward... I think this is the first time ive seen the w810i on a 12mth free deal. Generally speaking though, other retailers tend to follow after some time so if you're wary, it may be worth holding back to see if a more reliable cashback deal shows up. That's my tuppence worth anyhow!

I'm surprised so many people voted cold on this deal just because a handful couldn't follow cashback instructions properly and/or couldn't chase up TMO effectively, cashbacks arn't meant to be easy, if people want easy go to the high street.

This is good deal on a great tariff with a very good phone.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Schizoboy I'm thinking of getting this deal with the LG Chocolate. As long as I follow the correct procedure and chase them up everything should be fine and dandy right?

Yes, read the feedback, read the guide duck made, read the conditions before buying, if still in doubt pm someone who has bought from them asking for idiot proof instructions for the retailer and any tips, be uber vigilant on what arrives and plan the cashback properly, and you'll be fine.

All the hassle is done within the 1st week of getting the phone in the checking and planning.
After that you just need to file your bills away and and abide by your reminders.

Out of interest did you have the time to take a look at my post re: this e-tailer. I ask for alternative deals of those that pay instantly to your bank as opposed to having to go through this hassle. Either way I'll be placing an order on Monday. I'm only interested in the sim, I'll be selling the phone as I'm buying a sim free phone.
#21
Nah I'm lazy, too many posts I'll only read if I;m dealing with that retailer, soz :)
#22
I got a phone from these guys, i had to send bills 1-6 for the first claim and then bills 11&12 for the second claim. I am waiting bill 12 but i did get my first payment through although a week or so late with no problems. I did however send my bills back to them recorded delivery so they could not say they arrived after the date.
#23
i went for one, thanks op
#24
Can anyone who went for this tell me what bluetooth headset you get with it?

TIA
#25
