Jump to unread Post a CommentThe only criticism is that the battery life doesn't last too long, about 6-8 hours, although they charge really quickly, but I wish they'd compromised some of the wight with more battery life (also very light and sturdy) but other than that they're a must have if you have a PS3. Wish I had the money to buy a pair and keep them as spares.
So you know, the 7.1 surround sound only works for games NOT blurays, however I've since noticed if you stream movies or videos from your PC to your PS3 then the 7.1 kicks in again. No idea why but I'm well happy.
Battery life rocks also - HEAT!

Anyway, my question is, should I go for these or save for some PX5s, which I can also use with the PC? Quite interested in differences in sound quality, if anyone who had them can comment.

"Enjoy your Wireless Stereo Headset on your PC or Mac" from the product description on the site.

Here's the review on Engadget

Those look pretty good as well spec wise, and they have the added benefit of working on the 360 if you care, but the Sony ones are of much higher quality and better sound fidelity. You wont go wrong with the PX3 if you don't care about 7.1 surround sound, but if you have a PS3 I'd really recommend the Sony ones as they so much less hustle on top of everything, plug the USB dongle on the PS3 and you're ready to go.
Thank you Antikewl, the heads up is really appreciated :)
