30 days return and 90 days warranty on amazon warehouse deals .

Some say you will get 12 months warranty from amazon on warehouse deals, but if they say you will on the chat make sure you keep the conversation .

on paper this should be one of the best balanced phones on the market but reliability is utterly diabolical

I have one of these as a work phone, nice build quality buy the software in shocking (random restarts, freezing, facebook videos dont play, keyboard fails to appear), its not just a ond off either as most people i work with report the same. Also i dont think there are going to be any major updates either.

Unfortunatly the bootloader can not be unlocked meaning slim pickings for roms, plus the barclays apps doesnt work when routed

Disagree with you on the first point slightly :p there are 2 stable Roms with Lollipop and 4 or 5 KK Roms plus various JB as well (_;)

As for the Barclays App you are probably right as banks don`t like rooted devices :(

I've never had any issues with the 1st firmware and the latest is rock solid but there were a lot of didgy revisions. updating your phone. and completely resetting it via the PC software solved my issues.

Weak point of this phone is the screen viewing angles but at this price it is a steal for a Krait & Adreno 320 GPU - getting 23000 Antutu.

I can vouch for Resurrection Remix, I used to use it on my Galaxy S2, obviously it's evolved a lot from that time, but was an awesome ROM back in 2012.

Seem pretty much like a Neus 4 spec, a little faster. Should be good for this price if you can solve the stock ROM issues by changing to a custom ROM.

Mine was payasyougo at the start now network unlocked and rooted.

My bootloader is also locked this does restrict choice of Rom but there are still a few about :D

No, this is not a good phone. I have one and it's so awful, it makes me question the life choices I made leading up to the purchase of this damnable PoS.

Avoid. Cold. Damn you OP for trying to ruin lives.

I beg to differ... Rooted nexus 5 and barclays apps work a treat

I got one for my wife, overall it's been ok, but she isn't a particularly demanding user.
Now, I'd go for a Motorola G even though it costs a fair bit more.

I've had this phone for about a year, not rooted and costs far too much per month. It's starting to randomly freeze/lag and it's not a phone I'm happy with. It has an alert which constantly reminds me that the memory is 75% full (largely due to WhatsApp - I don't download that many apps, maybe around 20-30) and to top it off the USB wire for the phone charger had died a few months ago =\.

Nice price for one though!

not enough storage. You only get around 5GB after the android software, so an sd card would be useful for extra things like photos and music. I've found that keeping the storage low reduces the lag and freezing. Has anyone else had the problem where the camera doesn't open?

sorry but you can either have one that can be unlocked or you hace a locked bootloader which will be like this forever unless there are major changes by Sony and the networks.
And as I said there is a varied choice for Roms both for LBL and UBL.

avoid this phone at all costs, aswell as problems listed I get a yellow freeze for about 5 secs where it looks like its dying then springs back to life. pos
#27
also as this was my 1st android device I have to go back to ios, as ive had a shocking experience
#28
It seems the price varies. I got mine for £77.97 (the last one for this price) :-)) £77.97 for 4G is very good price ....
and when I tried another one it shows £ £80.76

It seems £87.69 is maximum price. So it is even better

Barclays app and sky go app both don't work on rooted phones.. nationwide bank app however did work on my rooted phone.

there is an app that cloaks the root from other apps, might be worth trying for apps that don't like root

What I have been missing here.
IMHO this phone deal should be burning hot above 500 degree, considering:
- It is extremely good price (even from Amazon ware house).
- It is 4G LTE Did people really notice this ?? Where anywhere else could you get a 4G for under £100 ??
- When it was £240 it received 596 Degree

Not gonna comment on this phone but have found warehouse deals used very good to be a great place for some bargains. My Xperia Z2's were the same description at just £203.18 no box damage and very minimal scratches or plastic damage fine in all other respects. Great buys.

Personally I won't buy this phone, I've had mine less than one year and it turns itself off and keeps freezing. It's now back being repaired for the second time.

Don't do it. I had this phone for 6 months, until it got to the point when I was going to throw it out of the window. Freezes, just cuts off a call for no reason, reboots, crap battery, Bluetooth disconnects......worst phone I ever had.

Seen Sony z1 compact on ebay for £230. Any good?

What you have missed - or chosen to simply ignore - is people's day-to-day experiences with this phone. I had one and it drove me nuts. Least reliable phone I have ever had.
