I guess you get what you pay for - it's a pretty cheap deal for this phone, so unfortunately you don't always get an adequate amount of data. It always seems to be data that seems to get cut down, obviously because they know that most users require it (so therefore must pay more to get what they want!)

i never get these comments about data, we now have four phone in it household, two adults and two teens, we all have 500mb data each and none of us go over it or really anywhere near it.

I have this phone with 1Gb of data and never get near using all of my allowance, not a great number of minutes but a nice price for this phone. I'd change my contract for this one in a heart beat, I currently pay £28 a month.

I struggle with 500MB but only just, so I agree with you. However, some apps use up a lot of data and run in the background too, so maybe that's why people are complaining about 1GB
