500mb is low usage these days, definitely could not be considered medium, for example this would be just over 1 hour streaming on Sky Go.

There is also £50 extra on trade in of smart phone + £25 quidco (potentially £40 on Sony). It's a really good deal as the market price of this phone on eBay is over £300 and you are getting reasonable data and minutes for effectively 452-300-25=£127 or £5.29 per month.

Thanks for pointing Mario. However, I don't think the £50 extra applies for this deal as it's not marked as such although Quidco/TCB cashback is available on this deal.

I got this on sunday, went to pick it up today from the shop and the cpw guy was a numpty. I got it because its a great deal, the iphone 5s which is the best comparison would be £300 more. Inc cashback £16.95 pm.

Well I didn't actually pick the phone up from CPW. The guy in the shop price checked a mobile case and then couldn't remove the line from the order when I said I didn't want it. Was in the shop 40 mins on Wednesday and then when I returned on Thursday the problem was still there. After another 45 mins I just called CPW customer services from my old phone and cancelled it. Then I waited and waited for then to tell me it had been cancelled, out of sheer frustration walked out of the shop waving at them as I left after 1 hr 10 min.

Reordered it via postal delivery and arrived very quickly. I should have done this first time around. Great deal imo, can't get within £100 of it elsewhere.

Does the handset come unlocked? I'm looking at this for my daughter as she's a heavy data user so i would need to put her virgin sim in it. The o2 contract would be fine for me.

Also, did you get the £50 trade in deal? I've a drawer full of old 'smartphones' so i would welcome them paying me £50 plus the trade in value (so £50.01 then!).

I don't know if it was unlocked, maybe best to ask them, I have an existing O2 contract and the new one is O2. The £50 trade in is on the far more expensive deal advertised, there was no mention of it with mine. One thing I did do though is buy it via topcashback which will give me £25.25 back (at some stage in the future) reducing the effective cost to £16.95 pm. Still a great deal, I couldn't get below £23 elsewhere, and I had a very good look. O2 direct want £28pm for exactly the same thing, bonkers!

You should try for the £50 trade in, as the deal page advertises it fairly heavily.

I wanted to keep my old phone anyway just in case. Notice they've added £49.99 up front now, naughty.
