The total price should be included a long with the price after cashback in the title.

Has anyone else had problems trying to claim their £30 cashback from Sony?
It won't recognise my IDID number. I read on the XDA forum that a lot of other people are experiencing this same problem. If I try to claim via my 1+1 (Android phone) and I get a completely different error, it says to input a correct model number.

Just wanted to see if anyone has had any luck or the same problem with their claim.

Just gone through the process and everything went through fine.

Great stuff, glad you got it sorted. Was your purchase through Very? Just wondering if that delivery note that comes in the package is enough for proof of purchase as I didn't have any other documents in the package and can not find anywhere on their website where I can view an invoice.

Have you had the 20% added to your account yet? Pretty pleased with that as the tablet is £299 most places now but the 20% still made it a better deal even though the price was £329. :)

Yeah mine was via Very, I took a screenshot of my order via the Very website and included that as my proof of purchase. I didn't take a picture of the shipping delivery note. Hopefully this should go through, I don't see yours being a problem either.

Not had my 20% as of yet, I've made a reminder via Google calendar to check this around the 1st Feb.

Yeah if all pans out like it should we would of got this tablet at a really good price :) Credit to Luke for finding the deal.

Really impressed with the tablet itself so far :D

I bought as I wanted to replace my aging Nexus 7 2012, ever since i updated it to lollipop it's lagged and really bogged it down, I know Google will fix this soon, I just felt it was time for a change. Really wanted a Nexus 9 as I'm a big stock android fan, can't stand skins, all of the negative reviews on the N9s hardware really put me off, luckily the Sony ticked all of the boxes for me, great processor, good screen & light / compact. Sony's skin is minimal. I've also installed Nova launcher so it almost looks stock.

The fact that it does PS4 remote play is a big bonus also and this also played a part in my choice being a PS4 owner. Really impressed with this so far, it's a bit laggy especially noticeable when your playing FPSs like Destiny, bit overall I'm impressed. Do you know to turn off location settings whilst using remote play as this improves the lag? I've also given my tablet and PS4 static IP addresses hoping that might help also.
I'm getting the official game control mount (GCM10) on Monday, so looking forward to that.

I'm dead chuffed with the tablet so far, can't get over how light it is, it's really fast also the snapdragon 805 handles everything with a breeze, it's everything I wanted and need in a tablet. If there was one thing I could change and that would be the colour temperature, apparently it's 10'000k out of the box which is far to blue for my liking, I've adjusted my white balance to counter this. Just wished it had an option to bring it down to 6500k this would make the colours far more natural / correct. But that's just me being fussy lol.

Yeah I'd read about turning off the location setting when I was struggling with my Z3 mobile with remote play and thankfully it worked a charm so it was the first thing I did when setting up the compact tab :) The mount is excellent and supports the tab really well, with the tab being so thin and light it doesn't feel too heavy on the controller neither.

You sound an Android veteran, I made the change from iPhones and iPads when I got my Z3 mobile which also lead me to the compact tab, do you have any tips or recommendations of Apps etc I should be checking out? So far I haven't looked back though, battery life on both devices is amazing and loving the ease of customisation on both as well 8) Even little things like account details for websites being stored in chrome saves so much fuss, especially when you have complicated passwords!

Thanks, yeah I'm a fan big fan of Android products (I don't mind Apple products, there just not for me, I gave my 3rd gen iPad to my wife)
What apps do you want need? I'll see if I can help. I tend to stick to as many Google apps as I can as I love how the whole system integrates.

Got my Sony mount on Monday, unsure if I like it, it does a great job of mounting the tablet I just wish the control pad / tablet was a little more balanced, even thought the tablet on it's own is incredibly thin and light it's hardly noticeable when using it in bed etc, but used in conjunction with the mount and control pad I found it a little unbalanced, I would imagine a phone would be better / easier to use for this purpose. I'll stick with it though as I may find a location or height where it's more balanced.

Gotten use to the mount much more?
The best position ive found which is comfy for me is placing the tablet as low to the controllers touch pad as possible to try and keep it balanced.

As for apps, im unsure really and was just wondering of there is any android apps that are classed as a must have or entertaining etc.

Oh, my cash back has been paid from Sony and also my isme account has been updated to reflect their cashback so there is £263.20 left to pay. Well chuffed :) Awesome price at £236.20 all in !

Im on the sony website now and my model number isn't even listed...

Edit: It seems I was on the cashback claim website for cameras, this is the site for tablets if its any help:
https://campaign.odw.sony-europe.com/dynamic/campaign/redemption/tablet_en_GB.jsp?page=product-validation

Just gone through the process and everything went through fine.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah mine has gone through fine this morning. I think Sony had a IDID database problem which I think has been resolved :)

Done the same with the reminder 8)

Did you buy it for any particular reason or just fancied a tablet, I've been using mine for remote play quite a lot with the PS4.

I must admit I haven't used it for a couple of weeks now, I've been playing Destiny a lot and trying to level myself up, I need to have no lag as the enemies can be a bit ruthless so I've been playing it my PS4 direct, I did buy Driveclub the other day with the 10% PSN discount they were doing so I'll give it another go with this game at some point. Thanks for the images I'll give this position a go and see how I get on :)

Yeah I also received my Sony cashback & Very paid the 20% credit to my account over the weekend so I'm dead chuffed , I think it's an excellent tablet for the money.
