overinflated RRP generally available for around £60 but still a tenner saving i guess.

Personally I'd spend an extra few quid and get The M1001 model http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=128050
has the better and larger VFD display meaning you can read it from across the living room unlike the woeful display on the home music version

From the website:
"Moreover, it’s future proof thanks to 100% support of Windows Media DRM and WEP encryption."

How does the second part of that sentence follow on from the first part? No-one likes Windows DRM and WEP is only marginally more secure than transmitting all your data via a megaphone.

These are great - I have one.

However the price is not that special - I got mine for £40 6 months ago

I was going to vote Hot....but no support for WPA makes a mockery of wireless security, also makes me think it must be getting a bit long in the tooth...added a little warmth 'cos it is still a good price if it is what you want.

I did have one. It is good but if only it had built-in speakers it would have been perfect. You need external ampified speakers to go with it.
at this price, it is still good.

so would i have to add all my music to windows media player library and tag it all correctly?
its just i have a huge collection and i tend to just drag into the playlist what i want to listen to from the folders.

if i set a playlist up on the pc, could this access it and play it?
#13
I just used firefly and it done it all automatically

Paid £38 for mine at xmas so not that hot a price. Good piece of kit though, often just play the built DAB radio stations they are pretty good.

Have all my playlists setup in Windows Media Player now and this picks them up no prob.

This is end of line in my local Currys at a shade under £40 (£39.97?), so voted cold. It's no longer on the website, so must be the last few left, but if you want this it may be worth looking in store.
