For the money, these are amazing in ears, very loud, clear bass which shudders through your head, have won loads of awards also. Cheapest they have been for a while.

These are great for a money. Sound superb even from s-hity source like phone.
#4
fantastic deal, very good price, buy and you won't regret it.
#5
Superb!! Cracking headphones. Surprised they don't do them in white to match the iphone.

Heat given

Note: Black/silver is now increased. AFAIK the rest are the same price. Shame but I got gold instead as red is a little to bright IMO.

To select Amazon (not selected by default) use the "more buying options" bar on the side

According to CamelCamel this is the cheapest they have been by a few pounds. Heat given and ordered, lets see how they compare to my Monoprice's and whether they are as good as everyone says...

is there a mic or volume controls?

If not then not great really

No they dont.

However have a look at the ratings and all the awards, it is generally agreed by industry experts that at this price point (and slightly more in fact) these are the best headphones.

"Usually dispatched within 1 - 4 weeks.". Still a good deal. Hot.

Good price but the Xaomi Pistons are better and also feature a mic with working Android controls not to mention better build quality with the aluminium.

To further expand on it, these really aren't a good choice compared to the pistons 2.0, which not only sound better but will probably last longer too. I would strongly suggest people check them out instead of these.

They are, quite frankly, awesome.. and they spank everything in a similar price range or (much) more.

+1 for the pistons. Though after using them in the gym for a bit I have found the remote control will start to randomly skip songs constantly. I guess some sweat has got in and done something funny to them :(

Soundmagic are great but if you use them regularly I can guarantee they will break in a few months, luckily Amazon are excellent and replaced mine twice before giving me a full refund.

pistons don't last long either. Better going with E10s as amazon customer service is incredible, they replaced mine twice so far.

I bought pistons from 3rd party seller, they refused refund past 90 days & gave me the contact manufacturer spiel.

You can't put a price on great customer service for mid range headphones.

Plus IMO E10s sounded better to my ears, more in line with my HD650s. They have great sound stage and bass is incredible. The Zeppelin remasters sound amazing on them.

Superb headphones. Build quality isn't the best as has been mentioned, but the sound is amazing. Last time mine packed up I bought a pair of FSL Zincs (due to a recommendation on here) and they aren't half as good. Might reinvest at this price. :)

Bought a pair of these in a deal on amazon last month.
They broke within 3 weeks, but the sound magic website email address's all just bounced.

Anyone know where I go to try and get some warranty support?
#21
heat for the price I brought these at 30 and they are amazing. however build quality is really poor, mine only lasted 5 months before one side broke.
#22
I have these...they lasted 9 months before the left started to distort and 'rattle'. Good sound but short lived.
#23
Phenomenal earphones, the best I have ever owned. Heat!
#24
dunno what you guys are doing with your headphones, but mine have lasted for a few years and are in great nick still. heat!

Amazon.com is an option. Read my first link for more info, as there are A LOT of fakes around.

I got a pair of these in may for 25.99. Fantastic headphones, sound amazing via flac on my sansa clip zip.

carry pouch and build is nice but i can see why they would break easily.

These are awesome earphones for the price and I got mine shipped over from the US for about £20...have since moved to RHA earphones and they are the best I have ever used!
#29
Just in-case anyone wants foam tips, can someone chime in and let us know which type of Comply Foam fits this model?

ho do they compare against ma750i? is RHA worth the extra?

My E10Ms have come apart - there's very little holding them together. I can't find any means of contacting SoundMagic either, anyone had any luck with a warranty? I've had them just over a year

The no remote is not an issue for me as I have a Pebble Steel smartwatch where I can control music and what-not. However, the item above is fantastic if you want controls + a microphone and to turn these earphones wireless so you can comfortably detach yourself from your phone. Since it uses APT-X the bluetooth sound quality is actually REALLY good with a compatible phone.

Also, if you are using Android, I'd strongly suggest rooting and installing the Viper audio mod. It turned my Note III into a rival for my Cowon in pleasant sound experience.

If Towelroot works for you, then rooting is a 1-click procedure.

Amazon - your contract is with them.

RHA MA350 a better choice imo. 3 year warranty as well
#35
Just bought some Pistons from amazon.com

After reading the reviews they seem a steal. Only £17.71 in the end too incl international shipping

No way!

Had two pairs for about 18 months. Amazing sound and no faults

There are a lot of fakes around so anyone buying the pistons make sure you research beforehand where from.

Zhengzen store on Amazon have been known for genuine parts. I personally wouldn't buy from any other sellers on amazon.com.

Replaced a lost pair of Monster Turbines with these - I was gutted, but didn't want to spend £100+ on new headphones.

Sound quality is surprisingly good and better than some headphones I've listened to that are twice the price. Definitely buy these if you're still using the standard iPhone/iPood headphones - it'll stop everyone else being subject to whatever trash you're listening to on the train (and they're better). They won't match any high-end IEM's, but you can't really go wrong for £25-£35.

The few things I dislike about them are: 1) They're very light, meaning you don't get the feeling of serious build quality. I'm not convinced they'll last with my usage 2) they're not my Turbines.

I've had these in the past and they broke after 6 months. I was constantly super glueing them back together as well before they eventually died. The sound is decent especially for the price but I much prefer Sennheiser CX215. Had these for over a year now with no problems at all and better sound quality than the E10's. I used to have some £70 Sennheisers and didn't really like them, but the CX215's are great.
