Next cheapest is £30.59, so this looks a nice little bargain for someone into Space Travel

In July and early August of 1971, NASA embarked on an ambitious and challenging lunar mission - the journey of Apollo 15 to the Hadley-Apennine region.

This 6 disc set tells the amazing story of Apollo 15 through compelling sounds and images of the film and television record of the mission. From training on the Lunar Rover to the first live liftoff from moon, you'll be there for each moment of the TV downlink and each foot of onboard motion picture film. Included are the raw television transmissions from the flight to the moon, all three moonwalks, plus the lunar liftoff, Trans-Earth EVA, in-flight press conference and more. This set also contains multi-angle views of liftoff and coverage of recovery through the statements of the crew on the carrier deck. You'll discover Hadley Rille as you've never seen it before.

Special Features
Complete television and onboard motion picture film from the Apollo 15 mission
Rare onboard astronaut recordings
Exclusive computer flyover of the Apollo 15 landing site showing EVA traverses and dramatic views of the Hadley Rille area
Multi-angle features during launch and lunar take-off
Footage of training, spacecraft checkout, suit-up, ingress, splashdown and recovery

I bought this at about twice the price, and I've only watched bits of it. It has some very interesting stuff but lots of boring footage much of which is fairly poor quality. There is no commentary so unless you are a real enthusiast a lot of it will be dull. At this price you get lots of footage per pound but you really do need to be the sort who is clued up and excited about the Apollo missions.

Mmmmm.

Looks like Play have 5 other Spacecraft DVD sets are £8.99 - the other sets being

Gemini
Apollo 8
Apollo 11
Saturn 1B
Saturn V

are all 3 disc sets and not quite as much of a saving but still a good price and most other retailers have them for over £20

Probably cold votes from those who don't like watching multi-angle views of rockets being launched, real-time docking sequences and long lingering shots with little happening.

Me? I love it! It's like watching European movies.

You're probably right. Shame really.

Because people are selfish and will vote cold based on their own personal requirements rather than thinking of others.

Many a good deal has slipped by cold on here due to these self-centred people.

True words. This got to about 40 degrees then just went down and down. I thought....eh? has it gone up/expired, is it £5 somewhere? Nope. I's just cold voting for the sheer "'cos I can"ness of it.

This will make a good valentine prezzie for my dh, and he is one of those who is clued up and could watch it without the commentary.

Would vote hot but dont know how!
