Does it have a plastic blade?
#10
Ive got this... If you've got a small garden it's perfect. Not particularly durable and it does look almost embarrassing. Would say £40-£50 is a fair RRP.

Don't bother - get a hover.

These were overpriced to start with just to show a discount coming into the gardening season - a few stores have done the same with certain models, as they have to show they've been at a higher price to claim and sale or discount status in the sales pitch (a legal tech). B&Q and argos have been shown to do this and the post have been on here HD' also.... they do it every year.

Anyway unless you've got a very long lawn, you're better with a hover - these things need loads of space to turn around when you get to the edge, that you think your doing a three point turn with a bus - I tried one for a couple of weeks last year and ended up getting rid as it was riddiculous. if you don't want a hover there are some which have wheels that rotate 360' like shopping trolleys making them at least user freindly.

I bought this last year from Argos for £32.99 - where they are getting the £99.99 fro heaven only knows.

Might vote COLD just for the blatant scammig of the price!!

Or unless your garden is on a steap incline like ours - Have you ever tried using a hover mower working uphill or down?...its VERY hard work.

I suspect it was £100 for a week, and they probably sold zero at that price.
Previous price was £49.99 which is probably reasonable.
Sub-£30 is good, with possible bonus of maybe upto 5% via Quidco.
Voted hot just for the audacity of WW's marketing hype :w00t:

I'll take your word for it, mines quite flat - Though near me there are some house which have steep areas in their gardens and they just tie a rope around the handle (on a hover) and lower it down the hill etc and pull it back up..... I don't know if there's a knack to it but I've seen the owners do it loads of times.

I have a hover and an inclined garden and it's a complete pain in the ass in all honesty.

I ordered this lawnmower on 18th April, told it would be delivered on 29th April 2008. Waited in all day to find out from my account that they refunded me the money. Had Email to say it had been dispatched also. Lawnmower has now gone up to £49.99, wonder it that's why they are not delivering anymore at £29.99:x

I wouldnt be too upset....I thought i was a lucky one to get this. Like mentioned before, the build quality is appauling! not only that, tried cutting grass with it and its so bad, keep stopping every 20 secs, needs turning over, grass removed......and then it started smoking too! Its now going back.....never used one this bad! anyone else had similar problems?

I ordered one and it never arrived after 3weeks of constant e-mails I got a reply it was "lost in distribution" and they refunded me!
