This works perfectly after the 3.50 update and allows you to connect any PS2 peripheral including steering wheels. I have one and it works perfectly with an official Dualshock 2 PS2 controller. A truely amazing device and an excellent price. Perfect for quality MP gaming at a cheap price. No need to shell out on expensive Dualshock 3's

USB connector plugs into a USB port on the PS3
PlayStation2 connector for your existing PS2 controller
Four LEDs indicate the controller ID

Looks like a good deal - but just in case it helps anyone, the one and only review on Amazon Where its £13.90) says that it "does not work with the guitar and guitar hero".
Well this is actually intended for control PADS as opposed to guitars. The product description only really mentions it being compatible with steering wheels and controllers so I doubt it's designed with guitars in mind.
this could help majke use of the ol' ps2 controller i have under the tv. thanks OP.
Does it definately retain analogue sticks? cos the one I bought off ebay (different model) did not..... Cheers
It retains every functionality of the Dualshock 3 minus the **** axis. Yes, even rumble. No, that wasn't a typo :)

Where does it say this is the version that has the force feedback?
Or do both Speedlink versions have force feedback?

Old model
New model

Anyone tried one of these with a wheel and pedals?
Erm, because I bought mines over a year ago and it supports rumble. I doubt they'd now sell an inferior version. But like I've said, I've only tried it with an official Dualshock 2 and rumble works fine. I don't know if 3rd party pads will work with it or whether they'll offer rumble feedback.
