Cheese & Crackers!

I paid £15 for a genuine 360 M$ pad from Game last week.
#2
I'm going to be a real loser and sync this up with world of warcraft =p
#3
Heat added; these are usually around twice the price. Pushing it a bit, but anyone know if it works for the xbox 360? :p
#4
ordered thanks
#5
thanks this is a good deal

does anyone know if it works with windows 7
#6
would this work with all games?
#7
How good are these compared to the official pads? Want one for my laptop playing FPS, racing and football games. One of the reviews say the triggers don't work so be no good at FPS?

Will this work with MW2 Online?
#9
Has anyone pad-hacked one of these? Wondering if its common ground
#10
The comment about the triggers on the website is a bit of a put off:|

why use a gamepad for fps games on a pc? weird...a mouse gives you miles more precision

I have a laptop and I don't use a desk I just sit on my sofa. It has HDMI out so i can plug it into my main tv and treat it as a home console then if I can find a decent cheap controller.

Having played with both third party and original 360 controllers, I can categorically say the official is well worth the extra. It is quite possibly the best designed controller bar none IMO.

3rd party contollers tend to feel cheap, plastic-ky and tacky in my experience. Not to mention not lasting as long.
If a job's worth doing... an all that.

HTH :)

Currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit and works perfectly .
I bought from amazon for £10 when i bought My Saitek Cyborg Gaming Keyboard For £70. Both sturdy builds no tacky buttons ect..

got one of these, worth a £5 i guess (i got it when it was like £12), but bear in mind for me ive come across a few compatibility issues with games, and 'triggers' dont seem to recognise for me. i would just try find a official 360 for £15 well more worth it!
#19
just read and yeah so its not just me who cant work the triggers.
yeah works in windows 7 for anyone wondering btw. plug and play
can use xpadder to config buttons but i would suggest getting a proper controller if you are going to use it enough.
#20
I have one of these and it does not work with PC games that accept official xbox 360 (for PC) controlllers as I'd hoped it would. Instead it is a normal PC controller, shaped just like an Xbox360 one.

So you can play games that accept a PC joypad and thats ok, but games such as Sniper Ghost Warrior only give you 2 controller options, Keyboad and Mouse, or XBox360 Controller, and this does not work if you pick XBox360 Controller. In this case you would have to use a program such as Xpadder to map the JoyPad buttons to keyboard buttons.

Hope that makes sense to anyone after this. I bought it for £8 a few months back, but this is a real bargain.

It does have a good rubberised kind of feel to it and seems to be well made.

Would this work on a Xbox 360?
#22
This doesn't work on 360, it works ok on PS3 though.
#23
Wow what a misleading title PLAY have used with the words 'Xbox 360' in it. Good thing I checked first.
#24
This should be stated as "xbox 360 style" or "inspired by xbox 360"
#25
Looking good!....heat added

I have 4 wired 360 pads for my 360, will these work on the new PC i'm buying or would I need to buy one like this to get pad control on the PC (mostly for fighters etc.)?
#27
You can DL drivers for wired 360 controllers to work on PC no problem.
#28
Cheers, ordered
#29
back at 7.99 now i think.
