spend 200.00 but as long as you pay the balance off each month you would get the shirt for free.

Emphasis on the words TYPICAL APR, you're not guaranteed to have your APR at 16.9% and for many people this will go up very soon.

I used to be with MBNA and they are very slick at cornering people who have a consistent balance on their card. They will soon up the APR to around 22 then 28 then 34.9% which one agent told me was what they are trying to do as the lower APRs are to get people to get the card then once they have balances or carry out transfers they up the APR and end up paying huge interest costs per month.

I'd stay well clear of MBNA......

I got the Spurs one a few years ago. Wasn't signed but all worked fine in terms of the offer. Plus you get points for using the card. As long as you pay it off every month its great as you get the added benefit of the security of buying with a card, plus you can use the points for free stuff, or in my case, free Spurs stuff. I presume its similar for the ManU version, but you can ge signed footballs and watch the first team train etc with the points.

I dont understand why people say credit cards are evil, I get 1% of all purchases back as holiday vouchers on my card and have set up a Direct Debit to pay the card off in full each month so I dont get charged any interest.

Why would i need one when i paid it outright? Point is, there are millions of people who get this credit card, and say "oh, its only one item, ill put it on" but pay it at the min amount. its an evil that nobody needs!
