Why because you don't support City or you don't like getting a tenner back?

WOW!!!! A whole £10 back!

I guess thats all they can give when their players are on over £100,000 a week.
Then you get the likes of Nobby Stiles who has won the world cup having to sell his medals and shirt collection. You would have thought one of these over paid prima donna's would have stepped in and just given him the money and let him keep his collection.

Wouldn't it be nice for a professional players association to take a fat cut of salaries and use THAT money to help players fallen on hard times ? Good point though.

Sadly,it's always funny these days to see one of your rivals have problems......victory and champions league participation at all costs .

The deal is rubbish, it's a 20% discount which on football stuff isn't a right lot.

I would give heat for the valencia comment because it cracked me up, but i'm afraid we vote on the deal not the comments (dh doesnt seem to understand that though)

It was my impression that footballers get taxed around 40% of their wages which goes to the government and then round the houses and then eventually back into the UK economy which in turns helps out the public get out of a recession?

So if we take Yaya Toure's weekly wage of £220,000 p/w and subtract 40% from it, the government gets £88,000 p/w just from Toure which will help everyone.

Yeah and he gets £132,000 for playing football!!!!!!

It's just not right, its not like he or any footballer has a skill that can help people, like a doctor or someone like that.

I understand perfectly thankyou, first time I've ever voted based on anything else in fact. However the op seems to be as much of a tool as you obviously are.
