I did too, on the 3 for 2 offer but luckily it worked out cheaper (otherwise I would have returned everything and re-bought it too get the gift card(s).

Hot deal by the way, It just makes the train set even more tempting (heat added).

Not bad, but if you are near legoland, you can go there and spend £85 and get a free annual pass;

better than a £20 gift voucher.

Just in case anyone was thinking of going to Legoland I would recommend ringing ahead if planning on getting the train set to get an Annual Pass - when we went on 13th November all of the train sets were gone and they werent getting new stock in ( I checked with customer services ).

Had the same last year and received 2 X £20 vouchers - they were printed with Lego on the gift card which gave impression you had to spend the £20 on Lego but was told you could spend it on anything in T R U.

If you plan to do this make sure you call first. I went on Saturday with a long list and didn't manage to get one thing off it! Stock is very very limited. No Harry Potter at all, other than the tiny Dobby set. Limited Star Wars, no Spongebob. Was like a clearance store to be honest - without the clearance prices!

not bad i guess but no good for x mas pressies!

Why is Legoo so damn expensive???

Its the quality of the product and in some cases the licence costs your paying for (i.e. star wars). You only have to put a LEGO brick next to a mega blocks brick to see the difference in quality. LEGO will last your kids all the way through their childhood.

Card was valid until the 17.01
Coincidentally on that day all TRU stores were closed for stocktaking. Strange isn't it.
