For those looking for basket fillers to push an order over the £50/100 mark here is a 62p shaving adapter http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-0083.aspx

However, keep in mind the sim card delivery trick where you can order a sim card from as little as £2.44. This gives you free delivery (Normally £4.85) on your whole order. It even allows a specific 'premium' delivery (£6.90).

Good find (beat me to it) along the Argos strategy lines. (call me cynical but its remarkable they come up with a deal like this the same weekend Argos releases their new catalogue  ) :) Heat and Rep added

Hot deal no doubt, but a bit of warning about Tesco Direct in General. I took advantage of a deal 2 weeks ago where weekend purchases over £50 came with free delivery. I ordered 3 items, only 2 turned up and they were both faulty. The replacements they sent out were also faulty. And then I finally got the 3rd item a week and a half late.

Perhaps I just got a surly delivery driver though, if that's the case, people in the Midlands beware!

Okay, my order was with Tesco Jersey for a cd, placed 17th July. First told it would be despatched 2 - 4 days, then got email saying expected to be despatched on 12 August., that was with a free postage promotion, not £50 spend.

One day I'll buy something from Tesco online and it will arrive on time, in good condition and to the right address :)

All I can say is that I have shopped with Tesco Direct on several occasions without a hitch.

Hope that puts someone's mind at rest!
