Just buy a download PSN / XBL value code instead. Much simplier and you get the discounted price if you are a plus member, rather than pay full wack from GAME buying the game directly.

I didn't realise it was that bad. Shall have to keep an eye out for when they have a clearout. But knowing how tight game are, they will probably just redistribute all stock to other stores.

That was a few weeks ago and they have since secured a new deal with brokers: http://www.dealspwn.com/game-brokers-deal-lenders-secures-future-91872
That sounds a perfectly sensible idea to me.

It's a slippery slope. Online sales, poor customer service and uncompetitive prices are just some of the things that are killing game off. Apparently the Game group are pinning their hopes on the vita selling well. If true i can't see how putting all their eggs in the vitas basket is a wise move in my opinion.
After 5-10 minutes on the phone they just gave me a refund. The phone call probably cost as much as the few £ i tried to redeem in the first place. Dont bother !!!!
(Why hasnt this been moved to misc, or spammed? If you want to discuss GAMEs current plight goto Eurogamer or something, not in an non-existent 'deal' thread ...)

I wouldn't call it putting all their eggs in one basket. There is only one console launch this year, so obviously that's going to dominate.
Edit: With exception, possibly the Wii U at the **** end.
