Spider / Insect Catcher for £6.99 delivered @ IWOOT
Spiders (and wasps - don't ever forget wasps) in my flat usually results in me screaming until my girlfriend removes the 'invader' via the old 'glass and paper' technique.
I've been looking around for a slightly more 'independent' solution to my problem, and this great insect catcher looks like the best thing out there.
It has great user reviews on Amazon (4.7 out of 5 from 43 reviews) - but the cheapest price on there (via a Marketplace seller) is £10.83 (RRP is apparently £9.99).
Don't forget Quidco, Also available through their eBay store:

Not as much fun as a rolled up newspaper :)

Ah, that's strange. Automated from the increased hits, perhaps?
It's still £6.99 from their eBay store, if you're not bothered about Quidco:

Can't wait for this to arrive, so I..., I mean my wife can catch the little buggers without inadvertent lady shrieks...

Rather than try and say save a wasp, let it go, and risk it heading back in your window and it succeeding to sting you next time?
(PS- I am allergic to there sting, so I prefer the squishy method)

if you're allergic I woundn't recommend the squishing method, if you miss you'll just make it angry and it will sting you. glass and paper method is much better.

Can of deodorant and a lighter works equally as well although does result in more frequent redecoration.

When the squishing is going on I'm normally behind a closed door in another room letting someone else do it ;)
I just like to know it's gone for good.
