Garbage is an understatement.

From the demo, this game looks truly disgraceful...

Yeah it looks pathetic. Reminds me of the turtles arcade game!

Why they moved away from the living breathing city I will never know! That was the appeal of Spiderman 3! Why can't they make a game with the living breathing city and outrageous fun physics like Crackdown?

In fact why didn't they give the licence to the people behind Crackdown? Or make something like that. I am not even interested in this game AT ALL! :-(

Or what about a game where one minute you are living a day to day life like in GTA games and then when the time comes you can transform into Spiderman and fight your enemies? Or how about a game where you can choose your missions at will and the choices you make effect your popularity in the city?

What about a game where the city turns against Spiderman?

Are they running out of ideas or what?

I think this one is aimed at the young ones that found Spiderman the movie 2/3 too difficult to play. I know my 6 year old nephew couldn't play Spidey 3 properly. He'd watch me play it, take the pad, mash the buttons, lose interest and then walk off.
I didn't mind. 6 year olds shouldn't be tempted with expensive toys! :giggle:

Yeah I think so too! It seems they are trying a different tactic but reviewers will still be very harsh when rating the game. They are already saying it won't be a very good game.

Ahh but 6 year olds give up when they can't do something or lose. I never let them win EVER, it makes them weak! :giggle:

My son is only just turned 6. Hes played Spidey 2 and 3  since he was about 3 , and is pretty good at them ;-) ... even he thought the demo was smelly :giggle: ... if this type of top-down button bashing game is your thing then you are FAR better off getting 'Marvel Alliance' instead.

:giggle: you voted cold on your own post.

I agree though, this game looks pants. The best one was Spiderman 2.
