Thanks for posting - worth mentioning a change in law regarding these seats just in case some aren't yet aware http://www.which.co.uk/news/2016/04/new-booster-seats-ban-439787/

all shops will be hoping to sell these off quickly before the law changes. if I see anyone looking at them in shops I warn them about the change. personally I think they should be taken off the market as soon as it is decided they are no longer safe.

What are you talking about. This is hukd. It's all about the price and safety comes third after postage

I had no idea about the new legislation regarding car seats... Naughty Argos for trying to pull a fast one before these new laws come in!

"The new additions to the child car seats regulations should come into effect in December 2016, but will only apply to any new products appearing on the market." therefore thay do not apply to backless boosters purchased before December 2016.

Just because there is new legislation doesn't make these seats any more of a risk than they are now, and the shops are entitled to sell these seats (even at an attractive stock clearance price) as it is legal to do so (and don't give me the moral arguments, shops are there to make profits),

Parents need to do research and be aware of what they buy no matter what the purchase.
