Awesome albums.Two individual original CD's.

Shooting off from the Spacemen 3 in the early 1990s, Spirtualized continued Jason "Spaceman" Pierce's exploration of modern psychedelia by combining drugged-out weirdness with classic British pop/rock moves and a healthy dose of sweeping space-rock. Their music is crafted on an epic scale and has incorporated everything from strings and choir to Dr. John's piano.

never did get why people raved about this band
#2
Excellent deal for 2 (1 great, 1 good) albums
#3
Both great albums, definite hot from me. Saw them live years ago, and they were awesome.
#4
Ladies and Gents is one of my favorite albums ever. Absolute bargain at £3 for that alone and Let it Come Down is great too.
#5
preferred the spacemen 3
#6
buy it to give away----criminal to sell at this price

Navel gazing over indulged smackheads.
Utter, utter bilge.
Soulless, meaningless dross.
The best thing that could happen to these CD's would be a warehouse fire.
The only people I ever knew who liked them where a bunch of self-important
crap-spouting pseudo-trendies from the early nineties.
A period of time this bunch of whingeing drug-abusing tossers never left.

There you go, hat well and truly nailed...

Sadly, I saw Spacemen 3 in several places, mostly because of some ****** I knew at the time.
Must have been 1988, Manchester International (1 or 2 ?), Tivoli in Buckley and some rathole in Crewe of all places.
I saw them in the Tivoli with Howard from 'Doctor Phibes', who they basically stole most of their sound from.
I hate both Spiritualized and Spacemen with an equal vengeance, the same cow who told me that the Beach Boys were more important than the Beatles loved them.
Proof enough.
Bitch.

I didn't realise people had such strong views about this band. I can see how some people might not "get it" though.

For those of you who do, I'd really reccomend having a listen to Sean Cook's 2 bands Lupine Howl and the Flies - both of who I like just as much as Sprirtualized.

People are strange...

Ladies And Gentlemen is a masterpiece.

well i am feeling experimental and am going to go with this one.

Like Spiritualized but feel they went too 'methodical'? if thats the way to say it. Album starts off all whizzy and up then goes more and more melancholic to the end. All the same No God Only Religion from Ladies and Gentlemen i think is a great track. Reminds me of Gong live.

I haven't used Spotify much yet but just had a look and was quite impressed that they're both on there, along with quite a few B-sides. The first Lupine Howl album is better than the second - I'd start with that. Let us know what you think.
