I only have to look at the picture or hear the word Brut to remember that smell :) when I was 18 my boyfriend was walking me home it was a bit cold and he was wearing a scarf which he took off and gave me to wear, when I got home I noticed it smelt of his aftershave but I didn't mind at all I just smiled and smelt it as it reminded me if him - that was in 1982 and we are still together. I always smile when I see it in the shops even though he doesn't wear it anymore. Voted hot :)

Funnily enough, last night I asked me wife could she smell my Brut? "No" says she..."but I can certainly feel it!"

This is the most 'dad of the 80's/90's' smell you'll ever smell.

One of those smells I don't mind but would never wear!

Heat for childhood memories though!

Still sells well as most buyers purchase this item as a joke. For this price it's cheaper then ever. Good for the gym, work.... Places you don't really care about. Certainly not when I am with the gf. ;)

This and the 'Denim.. for men' adverts always stick in my mind.

Aw my old Grandad used to get a bottle of this off us kids every Christmas. He probably hated it but always put it on for us..

So heat added because I loved that old boy to bits and this reminded me of him.

I saw it in Savers quite recently, I remember the TV ads in the 70s with the gorgeous Valerie Leon.

Lol - ok in order, he doesn't wear Brut anymore but does still have the scarf! It was a Villa scarf - he has always been a Aston Villa fan, no he isn't called Kevin - his name is David and yes he used to play footie - work team and Sunday league :)

Who are you talking to?

Mostly myself, at least that way I know someone pays attention :). With regard to my post it was just an in general post as Brut always brings back that memory to me, I guess it's that thing about smells or songs being able to transport you back to a time and a place things get fixed in your memory.
