Loved the first 3 games; might have to pick this up.

Great price, but not out until March!

There's a lot of HD remakes from the PS2 era that I'm gagging for but as good as these games are, they're not some of them. These so called "HD remakes" are a bit of an insult really as they're pretty much just slightly modified ports of the pc versions (same with prince of persia) and so little more than quick cash-ins. I'd rather they stick to top selling PS2 exclusives than these pc ports.

Bring on Ico, baby!
#5
Bring on Shadow Of Collosus!!! Man I cant wait for that game.

Totally - Ico/Shadow of Colossus is the only one of these HD packs I am looking forward to (and have actually pre-ordered).
#7
Just like to add that the God of War HD remakes were brilliant! Hopefully these are ported just as well.

God Of War's wasn't a shoddy port. Wouldn't tarnish the whole bunch with the same brush.

Beyond Good and Evil HD is another good example. Remastered soundtrack, majority of the textures redone, 60 FPS gameplay, etc. Can't wait.

Doubtful. Some of them are already on Xbox live anyway.

When are they gonna announce a Metal Gear 1-3 HD trilogy god damnit! Its the only series worth porting!

I don't think so as they're saying PS3 exclusive and Sony's really promoting the fact that it's 2/3 games on 1 Blu-Ray disc. It'd make Microsoft look like a bunch of morons releasing the same thing on 2/3 discs after them saying Blu-Ray is pointless for years now

In a way I agree but if they're going to continue this Classic HD series of games, they can't just stick to PS exclusives. If they did that, they'd do God of War, Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Metal Gear Solid, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and then what? Sure there are probably more but not enough to make a proper series of games. I'm glad they're doing some of them because I missed out on them back in the PS2 days. For example, I missed out on Sly Cooper, God of War, Ratchet and Clank and Prince of Persia

Final Fantasy 13 was on 3 discs on 360, 1 on PS3, only fanboys gave a damn.

Just saying.

Sorry that is got to be sickest games in history, the place for those games are in the bin.

that would be nice, but would never happen, after the backlash during the originals release
also manhunt 2 was a toned down health and safety version of the amazing original, so not really bothered by that.

any idea went the shadow of collosus/ico pack is commin out? and were i can pre order?

pity it's only on the ps3, plus although i love the splinter cell series, i wonder if, even with updated graphics, the games will have dated somewhat. good for nostalgia, will probably rent.

MGS 1,2 and 3 in HD please!

A lot of people who bought it on 360 hadnt played a JRPG before let alone an RPG, but it still sold a truckload because all the xbox kids thought FF13 was the cool game of the year.

Tbh I wouldnt mind having 1 dvd per remade game on 360, but the PS3 will be a lot easier and faster to develop them for. And its not just because of the one disc, you only need to look at FF13 to see how superior the PS3 version was due to disc space.

Why is this expired? Price is still £23.86...
