In 2013 the world endures a nuclear attack. With much of London devastated, MI5 set up field offices in the north of England. Six new officers join the MI5 and their mission is to search for the bombers, which could end up becoming more close to home than they realise.

David Wolstencroft's counter-terrorist spy drama SPOOKS is launched into the near future in the innovative new six-part drama SPOOKS: CODE 9. Set in the year 2013 following a devastating nuclear bomb attack on the capital, the show centres on the bright young recruits of MI5's new Field Office 19. After the city's evacuation, teams such as theirs have been set up all over the country to tackle any further threats to the nation's safety. With limited training and experience but with unflinching determination and a fierce patriotic spirit, the new recruits face danger at every turn.

Charlie (Liam Boyle), Rachel (Ruta Gedmintas), Jez (Heshima Thompson), Vik (Christopher Simpson), Rob (Andrew Knott) and Kylie (Georgia Moffett), all come from widely different backgrounds and possess a range of invaluable skills and talents. Hand-picked by their experienced Field Office Leader Hannah (Joanne Froggatt), they must come together and work as a team for the sake of Queen and country. Frenetically-paced, visually-striking and achingly-hip, SPOOKS: CODE 9 introduces you to a future devoid of rules and structure, where protecting your country has never been so much fun.

I'm a fan of Spooks, but I thought this spin-off series was a waste of time when I watched it on TV.
Never liked this either but for £4 worth a try if you have not seen it
For me not even worth £3.99 but still a good price if you liked it.
Cheap, but the series was appalling it tainted Spooks good name!
It was nice to see good use of locations in Leeds and Bradford for the filming, just a shame it was such a terrible series. Good price though ;)
Weird, I loved it!

This show was tailored towards a BBC3 audience so that could be a reason why you lot don't seem to like it!
Randomly I saw them film an episode of Spooks 8 today at Liverpool Street station :)
Watched one episode and not another, I have every box set of Spooks and this is awful. the actors are crap. the plot is crap.
I quite enjoyed it, although the acting was a bit patchy, somewhat tempted at this price!
I thought this was terrible and didn't watch past the second episode.
This series was bloody awful. £3.99 is not worth the amount of hours you will waste watching this drivel. Stick to regular spooks.
