The YEARS I waited for this game to come out - what a let down! Great at the beginning (spent hours making starwars vehicles lol), then rapidly goes down hill. Very good price though, and IMHO the price is now what it should have been at launch. Hot (price)

Good price and hugely addictive with my kids.

Cheap but crap.

I believe this is also mac compatable.

I felt soo ripped off when I got this game.
Never again will I blindly buy a game without reading reviews or playing a demo.

At this price though, its worth it.

Yes, sadly they did 'dumb this down' for 'mass market appeal' so that it'd sell. It promised to be so much more; and it shows within the game as well that a lot should be customisable; but, isn't.

Sad.

Couldn't say it much better than that. It's an enjoyable few hours play, but you'll be left wondering what happened to the game that was meant to be so good!

Good price though I guess. Glad I didn't pay too much for it on release!

The thing is, it actually got good reviews. But, like The Sims, it's just not very entertaining for very long and so it being so successful is baffling.

But hey, horses for courses and all that!

This game was such a great concept, but I think it went too far.

The initial stages of evolution were absolutely fantastic, if a little badly implemented in parts. The first two stages were also way too short, which was disappointing as they were so much fun! The creature creation was fantastically hilarious too!

The latter stages were too over the top though and poorly implemented. Building bases and then buildings and spaceships took the concept waaay too far IMO.

If they had kept the game more simple, but with way more depth and scope to indefinitely level up and grow your created creature (or your gang of creatures), it would have opened the door to a decent online community, where people were free to show off and fight with their creatures in a "my creature is better than yours" sort of way. I thought it was such a shame that this opportunity was missed personally.

Played this a while back and the best bit was the beginning, once you get on land its gets a wee bit boring. Could have been something special.

Still worth a punt at this price!

It's only £4 in the Stevenage branch.
