Probably the cheapest available now, but really should be free with the move starter pack in my opinion.

Cheers FC!

At least a demo disc... but agree they should have bundled a full game (a good one).

How reliable are SimplyGames for getting pre-orders delivered on time? I've never used them, but I'm after a Move Starter pack, extra Move controller, 1 Nav controller and Sports Champs... obviously want it before on on Friday!

One reviewer says they got 2 day before release... but other more recent review are more mixed:

It's hard to judge given the demand, if you plan on placing an order with the same retailer then you're most likely to get everything together on release day. I've used various retailers to secure the best deals. I'm not in a rush to play, but would be nice on launch day.

And surprise, surprise in the US Move Starter pack it is free, as well as the starter demo disk, yet here in the EU...we just get the demo disk, and not even that, 11 titles are on the US demo disk, yet here we just have 9!

Haven't you got used to being in the EU / UK and getting shafted on everything yet?! ;)

Yes, but the US Move starter pack, with Sports Champions costs $100 - roughly £65. The EU starter pack (no Sports Champions) costs around £45. So you can add the game for £23 if you want, and not really be out of pocket.

Good point FC! Maybe cicobuff prefers the convenience factor!

We did get EyePet before the yanks though! X) (Thanks to UK Dev)

hmm, do I cancel with shopto and order from here.
Says processing on shopto, so I'm not sure

Depends what matters most: Price or Loyalty (well getting it on release day or Shopto will give you some money back)?

EDIT: Not sure if you can cancel at "Processing" stage....?!

This is interesting - just called ChoicesUK to see about whether they guarantee delivery on launch day for Move. They told me Sony are holding back all stock and not delivering any to depots until Thursday evening, so as to stop retailers sending it out early. Which means, he said, he could guarantee they definitely wouldn't deliver it on Friday and nor, he thinks, will most other retailers, other than the massive store companies.

ShopTo have shipped a lot of MOVE starter packs reading from other threads here, and my Move controller just got dispatched this morning...

If you really must have it on release day and price is not an issue - why not consider instore (like Game or HMV)?

EDIT: Check out AVForums, lots of people received their orders today: http://www.avforums.com/forums/ps3/1172610-ps3-move-motion-controller-discussion-thread-24.html - mainly from Shopto...

If ChoicesUK are messing about with the preorders and not sending until Friday at the earliest then I might cancel and order elsewhere as I have ordered the Starter pack and a second Move controller.

Cheers for heads up Banzai really tempted but going to wait until I get hands on the Move before ordering more games.

Spoke to Simply Games, they said they are getting stock today of the Starter, Nav and Sports Champs, but not expecting the Motion Controllers until tomorrow. By ordering all 4 today, they'll give free Express next day delivery since it's over £100, and if they get confirmation that the separate Motions controllers are being held back, they'll ship eveything else for delivery tomorrow and the Motion controller could be sent tomorrow for delivery Friday. So I've gone for that.

@Banzai - price is an issue!

I should've pre-ordered from ShopTo when it was about £5 cheaper than it is now anyway

Interesting. So, as the PS3 is region free, it's probably worth buying (the game on its own at least) from the US?

What additional games are on the US one that we don't get? Are they good?

Probably best to wait for the demos to appear on the UK PSN store (or maybe earlier on the US Store) as opposed to ordering a US one and waiting for it to be shipped here.

US demo disc has 2 additional demo games: "Heavy Rain Move Edition", and "Resident Evil 5 Move Edition".

Banzai, thanks :)

I had misread the original post and thought that the sports title had 2 extra games in the US. The demos disc thing is slightly annoying but not a big deal for me. I rented and finished Heavy Rain anyway, and have just bought the Gold Resi 5 with move a few days ago.

I didn't expect to, but have today ordered a Move bundle! I can't imagine changing my mind on Kinect though :)

I spoke to ChoiceUK and they said won't get stock in until Friday for Move stuff and will take 3-5 working days to get to you so I changed to ShopTo and the starter pack and additional controller have already been dispatched. So while I'm on a roll I'm going to order sports champ as well

Well done mate. No BFBC2 on Friday for anyone then! (_;)

Also, don't forget to download all the Move demo's on PSN as per Fanpages thread: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/european-playstation-store-special-/758213?p=9389891

Which would mean that the start bundle would retail for £80.

Theres a reason why it isnt included, and thats to give people choices over what games they want to buy. The yanks however, they have no choice.

i got mine from shopto today. anybody wanting preorder games or accessories earlier than release. then u shouldnt even bother checking anywhere else, u should always order from shopto
#26
Damn these PSN Move Demo's are big... the Patches too! Think my PS3 will be on for a while!
#27
Heat added for price mate. Might want to hang back for a bit until some realing good games for Move start to appear. Starter games are never that good - merely demo's. RUSE is the only good game out there that utilises the Move in a serious context. IMO anyway.

True, but Gameseek only offer 3% Quidco... whereas Simply offer 4% - so it's actually cheaper with Simplygames if you successfully get cashback. 1p difference is down to preference really.
