For that price it's definately worth a try - HOT from me :)

alot of games like this have been a bit rubbish IMO, but for a tenner I have taken a chance as I love many of these games especially lawn darts and horseshoes... and even though it wasnt my sort of game I thought Ubisoft did an excellent job with Rayman Rabbids and the Wiimote, lets hope it is carried on to this game..

Ordered one....I love PLAY.COM.
Worth a try for £9.99 and 6% QUIDCO.
Sure to be a cracker with the pedigree of Nintendo.
I still bang my head for not pre-ordering the Wii Fit with PLAY.COM
#8
I'll say what I said about this before, if this is at £10 PRE-ORDER, then this game will be absolute dross.
#9
Have to agree with Doberman, and people saying you cant go wrong at a tenner.....oh yes you can...

Not voting either way - fail to see how there can be any vote really as you have no idea what you are getting.

cheaper and better for them if you actually gave them a real ball or something, y'know ;)

it's a bit of an urban myth that the wii burns off more calories than other consoles, frankly.
#14
what about the wii fit? lol

An interesting theory - goes against scientific fact that more movement = more calories burnt then less movement mind.....

however, I do agree with your other sentiment.

I am a sport scientist and there is growing research being undertaken on the role consoles have on activity levels of children (both negative and positive roles).

Not surprisingly early evidence is pitching Wii far and away above any other competitor.

Nice one OP - Ordered and voted hot

Sports Party is bound to be absolutely **** - cheap Wii mini-game compilations (to develop that is), that will sell in droves. It's the same with Big Beach Sports, Carnival Games, Game Party etc... all rubbish.

The trends of videogaming buying are strange. The charts are nearly always packed with mediocre to terrible efforts, because the licensing brand of a sports sim or a movie tie-in sell the game alone. Why does no one read reviews for games, like they would for a CD or film? :p

This deal will is good if you're willing to pay £10 for an hour or two of mediocre fun (the kids might enjoy it), but there are a lot of better games out there. There's a reason why it's £10... ;)

The sad thing is that because these rubbish games sell so well, the makers are just going to continue to make them.

Actually, the chart is looking pretty healthy at the moment, with only Big Beach Sports flying the flag for cheap and nasty Wii titles..............

is anyone else having problems with the website??
#23
Horse shoes?!
#24
To all the whingers!!!!

Yes there is a reason why they are a tenner. And thats why those of us that can only afford these 'bargain basement' games buy them!

The £40 games are beyond us.
#25
These games are good for parties though after a few drinks!.......it is £17.98 pre order on Amazon so this is a good price.

All seem to be Ok now :)
#27
thanx for this, these really are great for the kids, and better them off thier bums playing together as a family, then annoying each other.
#28
Buying this game is basically encouraging more mediocre shovelware for the Wii. Just like the music charts, the Wii is providing that **** floats to the top. Hold onto your money and buy the better games or this is all you will have before too long. And before anyone says they can't afford a decent game, I bet you've already bought the same amount in **** games. If you choose the games wisely you don't need a gazillon of them anyway.

Wait a while and buy second hand, then, that's what I do. The majority of games aren't worth £40 anyway.
