How it works
Dorsiflexion is a foot position whereby the heel is placed lower than the forefoot. This biomechanical principle has been used for years by physiotherapists, by shoe makers trying to reproduce the natural feeling of walking barefoot in the sand, by Japanese traditional medicine to activate blood circulation in the legs. It is therefore not a new concept. What's new are the scientific studies proving that placing the foot in dorsiflexion provides for greater benefits than regular athletic shoes in terms of training, performance and health.

Good Lord!!!
I see these quite regularly in the clearance trainers corner of my local Sportsdirect.

Supposidly they build up your calf muscles, but by god they're ugly!!!!!! :whistling:
On sale for £15 at sportsdirect.com with 2 sizes still available....forget about the £80, these are not worth more than £23 (ebay).

thanks-rep left & added to title

You're welcome. I have had 2 different pairs of this make of trainers. One pair was great for everyday wear. The other had a harder cushion which made them sore for prolonged use.
I would still recommend them though.
