Sack upon sack upon sack of spuds.

No doubt good for chipping, roasting, boiling, frying, baking and as impromptu footballs.

This works out at just 1.587p per potato!!!!*

*figure based on assumption there are 63 potatoes per sack - actual figure may vary.

Awesome indeed, Mr Big Weapon, but also WHOLESOME, especially if boiled or baked to retain all the natural vitamins.

If ur lucky lol - the ones i had at xmas were there ones that were 2 bags for £2 as thats all that was left in my store - anyway - they wouldnt even mash they were so bad, then id also made some roast potatoes - i had to deep fry them as they just wouldnt go crispy & brown - and even still it took aggggggggeeeeessssss - totally ruined my xmas dinner - ever since I only buy the maris piper potatoes out of asda which tend to be allright but i preffer to buy potatoes elsewhere

Geez, have you got a chippie or something?

But if it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger.

I have never eaten a potato from asda. I assume they wont be organic or free range at this price?

Whats a free range potato LMAO:-D
#25
They are not organic, potatoes are one of the worst for pesticide residue. Id rather have a smaller amount of quality than loads of poor quality stuff.

I reckon they're the caged-battery variety (hope this doesn't inspire protest from the veggie society against cruelty to potatoes!) I personally would boycott caged potatoes. :whistling::p
#28
i paid over £1 for just 4 flipping potatoes in asda the other day!! Should have waited!!

I got some today with my toddler, only to find when I got the big bag into my house that all the spuds have sprouted. Not pleased as it all, I know they are cheap, but what a hassle.. contacted Asda as the sell by date is 20th May, and still waiting for Asda to reply. Best to check if they sprouted or not before you start lugging the sack to the till :) but noy sure if you are allowed to open the paper sack?
#31
Seen at portrack lane, stockton too. Lots, big red sign saying £1 :)

Also saw some donughts on a shelf near to them, big tray with film over for £2 they looked nice, iced with sprinkles on top :-D

What? They come with sprouts too? WOW!!! That's like, almost all of your five-a-day............

This deserves to be hotter than the Nintendo DS deal!!!!!

Plus you can't even eat DS's.

Or throw them at people.
