Don't get me wrong, its always fun going for the Square Enix box each year. I'm going to take a gamble and guess everything we are going to receive has already been in a HB package this year. :( Heat regardless fingers crossed aye Ho ho ho.

I got the impression that the games would be very old like original tombraiders and hitman etc. but the last 4 boxes from what was listed appear to be some decent games worth the £5
think I will take a gamble ^_^

Final Fantasy VII would be good as VIII was in a previous bundle (which I missed :( )

Just Cause 3 would be superb but potentially unlikely!
Possibly some repeat games now, there's only so many they can put in these bundles.

Damn right, if the terms of the gamble and deal are made clear upfront, then "entitled" consumers have no ground for demanding a refund.

Information about the exercise of the right to cancel

1. Right to cancel

(a) You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days after:

2. How to cancel

(a) To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post to Square Enix Limited, Square Enix Support Centre, 240 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NW, United Kingdom). You may use the model cancellation form provided below, but it is not obligatory.

(b) You can also request cancellation by using our online cancellation form. If you use this option, we shall send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email.

(c) To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the relevant cancellation period has expired.

3. Effects of cancellation

(a) If you cancel a contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

(b) We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

(c) If you have requested us to begin the performance of services during the cancellation period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been performed until you informed us of your cancellation of this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

(d) We shall make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after:

(i) in the case of a physical product (where we have not offered to collect it from you): the date on which we receive the product back from you or, if earlier, the day on which you provide evidence that you have sent the product back to us; or

(e) We shall make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

4. Returns

(a) Where we have supplied a physical product to you, then (unless we have offered to collect it from you) you must send the product to us (or hand it over to us) at the address stated in paragraph 2(a) above, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days after the date on which you inform us of your decision to cancel the contract. The deadline is met if you send the product back before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the costs of returning the product.

(b) If the physical product cannot be returned by post, we estimate that if you use the carrier that delivered the product to you, the costs should not exceed the amounts that we charged you for delivery.

(c) If we agree at our sole discretion to collect any physical product from you, we reserve the right to charge you for our direct cost of collection.

5. Loss of cancellation rights

Despite the above, you cannot cancel a contract (nor return a product and claim a refund) if:

(a) the product is a physical product that (i) is made to your specifications or clearly personalised or (ii) consists of sealed video games, sealed computer software or sealed audio or sealed video recordings and you unseal (e.g. remove the shrink-wrapping from) the product after receiving it; or

(b) in the case of any product consisting of digital content (e.g. a download product) that is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. a CD, DVD or cartridge), you have started downloading the product or otherwise used an activation code or other means required to access and use the product, as long as: (i) you had expressly accepted when you placed your order that (A) we could start to supply the digital content during the cancellation period and (B) you could not cancel the contract once supply of the digital content had started; and (ii) we have confirmed your acceptance to you in confirming the contract (which we hereby confirm); or

(c) in the case of a service, we have fully performed the service, as long as you had expressly accepted when you placed your order that (i) we could start to provide the service during the cancellation period and (ii) you could not cancel the contract once we had fully provided the service.

You are right uk and EU can refund due to our laws. US are screwed which was when i first saw the deal.

I guessed as much. It's cool. It caused me to go hunt the T&Cs. I probably wouldn't have bothered ordering had I not checked the details. :) Now I've even got screenshots throughout the process just in case. :) Hopefully my investigations will give others the confidence to risk placing the order too. :) xxx

I f I hadn't got Life is Strange for £4 in the Steam autumn sale (or if I didn't already have 70-80% of the games Squenix would actually bundle) I'd probably go in for this, pretty sure it'll make an appearance. Certainly seems unlikely that Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, or FF12 would be in this bundle and they're the only ones left that I both want and don't already have (yes I know they don't do FF12 for PC but I can dream can't I).

I desperately tried last year to get mine refunded. Sent multiple emails, all were ignored.
