Ebuyer give you the same thing at a much lower price. Don't get hung up on the branding 'cos they are all made in the same country:p

Whilst i dont expect the eBuyer guitar is as well made (Squier are actually very well made guitarts for the price) i think an absolute beginner would probly be better off with the el-cheapo ebuyer one. That said your deal is very good and i have voted hot

P.s got the guitar myself and paid £100 for it and an amp second hand many years ago :)

And towards award for not actually knowing what they're talking about goes to....

If this was the case, nobody would spend £2K on a Gibson.

Squier are worlds apart from the rubbish for sale by eBuyer. A friend bought a £40 guitar and amp for his son for Christmas. It was badly set up, had the weakest pickups I'd ever listened to and was difficult to play.

You really do get what you pay for with guitars.

Squier guitars are very good quality. (Beware I have found they generally tend to have slightly larger radius necks than some other makes, which might not suit smaller hands). Voted hot.
