Just a few words of warning - this is literally opposite stoke station (so +1 for transport!) , and the bus to alton towers leaves from directly outside it - on the downside - don't expect to go out into the night in stoke - It's a bit of a dump (imo!) - Trek up to hanley or newcastle for a better night :)

Just stayed here last weekend, no issues was given a luxury family room & food was excellent. Only downside was only 1 or 2 serving & there was a queue of about 5-6 people at the bar.
Hot offer, directly opposite stoke train station.

My parents stayed here and were unimpressed by the lumpy old bed and the equally lumpy old food for dinner. Guess you do get what you pay for though...
