Bought these last year, trust me they are crap.

" Premium Quality Stainless Steel "

= Poor quality plastic, the only part that is stainless steel is the rod, they have all rusted.:-(

Most of mine no longer work.

Sorry this sounds negative, but it the truth.

Also Woolies was price is a joke.

They still look good to me,
I've had garden lights from Woolies before and to be honest the quality isnt really any different to those I've seen elsewhere at a higher price.

I might pop instore to check the quality for myself (plus save the £4.95 delivery charge:giggle: )
I hope they are good as I've just ordered one as a gift:w00t:

The post by Inactive is 100% correct. How these didn't get done under the Trade Description Act I'll never know. My brothers wallet gives out more light.

Fair enough, I thought it was a good deal. If enough people post that its crap I'll ask for it to be removed.

Sorry angelkelly,

But must concur that these are cheap crap - don't waste your money!

You're entitled to your opinion just like anyone else Angel, its Woolies pretending they were £79.99 that makes it look a good deal so don't feel bad about it

I have these as well, biggest heap of dung I have bought. :-(
Was £79.99, I think they are without doubt extracting the urine. No way, did they sell any at that price.:giggle: :giggle:

Soz, I'm voting cold.

Don't asked to get it removed, it's good to show people if this product is rubbish or not.

I wanted some of these, after reading these reviews I'm happy that i haven't ordered them.

Cheers

Don't feel bad about it .. at face value, they do look a bargain, it is only the fact that I and others have been stung by Woolies with this crap, that the deal shows up as crap.

You were not to know.

At least you have helped others by bringing this to light.;-)

Dont sweat it Angelkelly. Been looking for a set of these and was interested by post. Other purchasers negative comments have helped sway opinion. Will not be making a beeline for Woolies now!! Keep em coming!

I went to Woolies and bought them they look good in the garden at £2 each I'm not expecting them to last too long but the pleasure they have already given is well worth the money.

Agreed. They're cheap and cheerful but any solar lamp gives out very little light. To be honest, I have bought expensive genuine metal ones and the thing rusted apart in two years. I now have a lot of plastic ones in my garden, they are just for visual interest, and they would mark out a path nicely if you have one.

Thanks angelkelly :)

I have 12 solar lights in my garden, 10 that cost £2 each from Wilkinsons and 2 that cost £6 each from another store. The 10 cheapies are still going strong after 6 months, the 2 £6 ones breathed their last witinn 3 months (and I can't find the bloody receipt). Moral? Not everything that costs more is worth it.
