Been looking at these to replace my toolbox for ages. Looking at it now I can see the quality is excellent. Thought for £20 it is well worth it, today its £40 in Screwfix and £23 in Homebase. So many pockets all the screwdrivers, knives, files etc. have their own place and can be easily picked. The best thing is there is no lid to break and the tote holds by drills hammer and clamps in the center. I really like the tough plastic base so it will last ages and can be put on wet ground. You do not get a plastic base on the cheaper ones, a fabric base will not last.
When comparing this tote to the cheaper ones I can see the difference. The material is overall thicker with more shaped pockets. Having a shape to the pockets makes putting away the tools and getting them out a lot quicker. The rigidity of this tote is much better than the cheaper ones and unlike a tool bag, it holds is shape empty or fully loaded. The shoulder strap I won’t use but looks well made and I have tested it fully loaded. One negative is the saw holder is something I will not use and I would rather have pockets on this side. However there are still enough pockets and it is a quality piece of kit, that looks like it will last years. There are 8 external pockets and 20 internal loops for holding tools. There is a mount for a tape measure but this blocks a pocket when in use. STILL, I’M OVER THE MOON WITH MY TOTE!
