Bought this at £99 but had 2 lithium batteries so not sure how good a deal this is as the batts are quite expensive. Having said that the drill has been faultless and has done everything I needed it to from building built in wardrobes to all the stud work for a large en-suite and generally round the house stuff. Also sits very nicely in the hand.

I bought this the other week, for the same price at Argos. Loved the look, feel and the spec of it, but when I came to use it I noticed the chuck wobbled terribly. Took it back for another and it did the same . Asked for a credit until I look for an alternative. Really gutted as I loved everything about it. I just couldn't use it properly.
So please check the chuck with a long drill bit in it first. I hope this helps.

Are stanley owned by dewalt or vice versa?

If so they'll probably share a lot of component parts... Looks like a v good dril at a v v good price if it has two batteries.

Yes that's correct jones. It feels really nice in the hand. Two Li-Ion batteries in the case.

I looked at this drill before buying a Worx WX372.3 from Argos for the same price. It felt solid and well built, can't comment on the chuck issue as I didn't use it, The Worx is a great piece of kit.

Good price.

You're welcome Craigl. Heat for your post anyway. Maybe cross your fingers and hope that you get one from a good batch as i hear that their customer service isn't very clever.
