The O/H wants my tools out of the understairs cupboard(!) so was looking for a 2nd toolbox to keep all the low-use ones in the garage. Had been worrying about potential rust problems so was pleased to find this waterproof toolbox at a good price in B&Q. Seems to be quite heavy duty for a plastic toolbox and is on offer at the moment - quite a bit cheaper than the on-line alternatives.

Hopefully of interest to some of the DIYers amongst us.

B&Q web site shows no stock in my local store (Bangor), yet a good half dozen actually in the store earlier today.....

I need to check out Focus. Nothing on-line. Is it the same size?

Mitch - I checked out Focus today and couldn't find any Fatmax stock there. They did however have the Professional series. This looks quite similar to the Fatmax, but is splashproof rather than waterproof.

This professional box was a bargain though. It seemed to be £29.99 on the ticket, but I took it to the tills for a price check just in case it was on offer, and to my amazement it scanned at £10(!) so I bought it. Thx for the tip.

Note that I will probably still buy one of the Fatmax boxes from B&Q as I'd like to keep some of my tools in the potentially drier environment offered by its IP53 rating.
