Can anyone recommend a decent glue stick to go with it? My mum gave me some but they are no better than using a pritt stick!!!

I got some sticks on amazon, they are flexible but sem ok. 85p ish for 10. however, I do find that with hot glue it depends on what your sticking and tou sometimes have to use the glue like a construction material and use more than tou would think.

Appreciate eBay's are not Stanley branded but do you really need a branded glue gun? They all come from China. Mine looks identical to this.

Those are the one's you get with it. It has two temps. I used it on the low temp to repair a pull on my berber carpet. It worked perfectly well, the stand prop was pointless so make sure you have somewhere to rest it.

Is this better than No More Nails for attaching skirting boards using adhesive only?
