From Amazons prefered merchant. So a legit company. Not a random Chinese guy.

Indigostarfish.com, they have been sending out DVD's for Amazon for a few years now, sent from Jersey to save tax and keep the price low!

They are not a marketplace seller!

Dammit I love Kubrick but no one ever includes his greatest work, Barry Lyndon. Barry Lyndon on Blu Ray, sort it out!! And Eyes Wide Shut is a good film, just had high standards to live up to. The box is a great price for outstanding cinema.

I suppose... I just really didn't like it. Strangely enough my local cinema has a free Stanley Kubrick season on at the minute - free Stanley Kubrick film every monday. They're playing Paths Of Glory, Lolita, Dr Strangelove, Space Odyssey and The Shining.

Just noticed that Barry Lyndon isn't on the list... Always wanted to see Clockwork Orange at the cinema too. They do it to spite us :whistling:

Has Barry Lyndon been re-released as a special edition? I know they remastered 2001 and gave it a limited cinema re-release last year, then the new DVD was released and the same followed for a few other films. Looks like this is just a boxset of the films that have had special edition releases. I'd love to see a totally complete boxset including all of his feature films from Killer's Kiss and The Killing onwards, and also the few short films that he did before those. And most boxsets always miss out Spartacus. Not a Kubrick film, per se, but he did direct most of it and it's still a good film.

So, so jealous. Where do you live? BFI Southbank had (are having?) a Kubrick season lately but I haven't had chance to catch any of the films yet.

Haha, I live in Stoke - I was well surprised when I found out about it. Oliver Stone free films was last month. Quite decent of them really I guess. It's only a small cinema that's run by volunteers, show some decent films and tickets are cheap so all's good :-D

Not the special editions, but this set has Lyndon (albeit on DVD)
