I have one of these - probably worth £20 but not much more. The plastic sides are not well formed and are too flexible, leading to you pushing and shoving the sides about to get it to close - even without anything in. oO

That was over a month ago, so repost is ok according to HUKD rules.

As to the item, i'd agree with mozzer99's comments.I have one of these and also think its too flexible.Another week spot is the the hinged lid. If you have weight in the lid and open and close it, it puts stress on the lid hinge. Ive snapped a lot of the hinge already and it wont be long before it gives up the ghost completely.

Got one of these from Clas Ohlson for the same price before christmas. I agree the sides are thin but they are sturdy enough and are excellent if you have a number of tools and a limited space to store them (i.e. a storage cupboard in a flat!) I have the drills in the base and the socket sets, hammer etc in the top. Job done.

These were reduced to £18 ish in B&Q about 2 months ago.
Worth that and not any more.

the price goes up and down all the time but has anybody ever paid 40 quid for this?

Top box is ok part from the hinge as said wont hold much weight the bottom box as said is abit flimsy needs a bit o jigging about to get top box on again

Just been and picked one of these up, got it for £14 as they had 30% off as well :D
