Think this is the cheapest it has ever been? Will be on offer until 6pm Monday 23rd June

About the Game
The Stanley Parable is a first person exploration game. You will play as Stanley, and you will not play as Stanley. You will follow a story, you will not follow a story. You will have a choice, you will have no choice. The game will end, the game will never end. Contradiction follows contradiction, the rules of how games should work are broken, then broken again. This world was not made for you to understand.

But as you explore, slowly, meaning begins to arise, the paradoxes might start to make sense, perhaps you are powerful after all. The game is not here to fight you; it is inviting you to dance.

Based on the award-winning 2011 Source mod of the same name, The Stanley Parable returns with new content, new ideas, a fresh coat of visual paint, and the stunning voicework of Kevan Brighting. For a more complete and in-depth understanding of what The Stanley Parable is, please try out the free demo.

This game is junk; pertinent information.
I'm a fan of the new niche of art games and a long time supporter of indie games in general. Being an art game does not make a game automatically good, each one still needs to be judged on its merits.

The Stanley parable is one of the ones that didn't work for me. The idea and even execution are pretty sound, but the experience of playing it just didn't captivate me.
I loved it and bought it I'll prove when It was released.
More of an experience than a game.. But spent a few hours on it discovering all the different endings and routes.
Great buy well worth this price

This kept me entertained for an hour or so. If you liked the talky bits in portal 2 you will like this.
This game is really funny! Not much content though...
clever game
Brilliant game. Don't read up on it, just play it with an open mind.
I bought this a few months ago. It's not the sort of game you'll play over and over and over for months. It's the sort of game you'll play for a few days then likely never play again. That being said it's a very creative, unique game. Don't even bother trying to understand it without playing it - I spent a long time reading about it and still couldn't get it at all. Once you start playing it you realise what it is.

If I recall there's a demo for Windows users as well so you can try before you buy.
If you liked this game, get the demo too. It's just as entertaining :D

£3.99 or 2 TF2 keys currently at £1.32 each (£2.64 for the lazy ones).
Not really living up to the promise. Primary school philosophy combined with repetitive gameplay and looking for another open door this time. There are no real puzzles or brain teasers here and the narrator doesn't really encourage you to question anything. Just follow the corridor until you get bored to death.
@jonorl where do you but the game from once you've got the keys?

I showed this game to my girlfriend, who doesn't play games very often. she just followed everything the narrator said and got the good ending I was like "so are you just gonna do everything your told" she didn't get it.

A harsh critique, but a wonderful condensation of why I didn't enjoy the experience.
got this a few months back. it is more like a interactive story than a game though
Preferred the demo myself too. Spend your money on gone home instead.
