The Stanley Parable is an interactive story built on the Source game engine. To say much more would be to spoil it...

70% reduction brings it down from £9.99 to £2.99.

Steam daily deal - ends at 18:00 today (31/12/14).

Not the longest of games, but kept me very entertained - for 6.8 hours according to my steam stats.

Highly reviewed, and I thoroughly recommend it. If you're not sure, give the demo a look.

Been wanting to try it and seems to be the best price yet

It's well worth also playing the demo version. It's actually completely different content, rather than a slice of the game.

It's a good concept but as a game it's not worth £3, took me an hour before I was bored of the novelty.

If it's anything like the quality of their screwdrivers I'll give this one a miss.
#5
It will surely end up in a bundle soon, so i'm not gonna waste £3 on that now.

I think this is the best advice - if you like the demo then you will probably like the full game too but you won't feel you are wasting your time replaying content if you do end up buying it.

Also - if downloading and playing the demo seems like too much effort it's probably a good indication that you'd never get around to playing the full game if you do buy it.

£3 an hour ain't bad. I charge more than £20 for my own time, so getting that kind of rate from a team of talented designers isn't bad at all.

This is not greater than the sum of its parts.

Bought this a while ago, I found it funny for an hour or so, but then It just became too repetetive so I gave up.well worth it if you find Hitchhikers guide comedy funny, otherwise it's not for you.

Hmm, right now you sound like a gigolo but your an explanation away from being a driving instructor.

I wish I was a gigolo but I reckon £20 an hour might be a bit low?? Not sure though!

Well if you go by that logic you might as well buy every single game on Steam, because each can be deemed good value by your standards.

Would you for instance, pay £6 for a shirt that lasted for 2 hours?

That's a completely different thing. The Indonesian chaps who make shirts are only paid 8 pence an hour.

Ok then, so Skyrim has around 300 hours of gameplay, you would happily pay £900 for it?

You like linear frames of reference man!

No. But I will happily admit that it was a game that offered excellent value!
