It's a nice idea but it has absolutely zero legal premise for the name to be used, you might as well just design a certificate yourself & save the tenner

Wow I thought it was a lovely gesture. Doesn't really matter to me it's not legal, I don't work in law and to design and print all the documentation alone would cost you more than £9.99, not to mention researching your own Northern Constellations, great if you have the time, lol!

I think people will know this isn't legally binding etc. but the gesture is nice. More symbolic really.

"a lost family member"? If i got lost I'd prefer a sat-nav or gps unit...

Really is a terrible money grabbing exercise.
There are billions of stars out there, what make you ever think one would be named after you or the odds that they use the same crappy star for every "official certificate"

Just google Name a star for free, also plenty of images of gift certificates to copy.

Surely if you feel this type of thing has meaning, you will be better off looking at the night sky and learning a few constellations that you can actually see, point at it and dedicate it to your loved one.Or look up the moons craters and dedicate it, that way you will get to see it regularly on a full moon.

Would prefer someone donated to charity on my behalf rather than giving to a commercial business not really providing any thing in return.
