Well done, I've just explained it's already been posted you **** the point is if it was hot 4 days ago before it expired and the price went up to £20. It's definately hot at £7.15 which is the cheapest it has ever been! http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/317O9ZNDrBL._AA300_.jpg

So what's your point Lee? This is a 4GB stick, and for anyone that fancies themselves as a bit of a Trekky it's not a bad deal.

For £6.80 this deal is red hot. I love the design of the stick and the packaging. I know I may or may not be able to run the film (due to DivX drm) but who cares. I love the stick!

Wow, that was a mature comment there. Thou people in glass house's shouldnt throw stone's.

it wasnt aimed at you anyway - a light-hearted joke at the OPs avatar
try and find a sense of humour
then perhaps a lesson in grammar wouldn't go amiss
and finally a lesson in maths (clue: £8 for a standard 4gb is a worse deal than a 4gb usb stick with a star trek movie)

hope you arent a salesman or buyer!

you must work for a gov org or council...if you dont you should try im sure you will fit

Need to go easy on Lee look at the post from 17.50 made me feel like an absolute bas**rd

I did start to think that but seems like he wants to argue with anyone...

Also build quality? Proper chrome metal or coat? Weight thing or flimsy thing if anyone knows?

Think you're right, there are 8 reviews on Amazon and 2 of them mention the build quality:

"The actual USB is surprisingly heavy and looks really expensive"
"It's a really heavy and high quality USB that needs to be held to really be appreciated"

If anyone's worrying about the DivX player bit, you can download the program for free from Filehippo.com, you can also burn it to DVD.

Got for £9.99 when previously posted.

Well impressed with it

Very heavy, well made, very nice all round!

AND I'm not even a star trek fan :w00t:

Defo worth £7 odd, a nice change from a normal, boring mem stick :)

You have registered with Quidco first haven't you? You have to sign into your account (top right hand corner of Quidco page) before you click on the link to the retailer. They then track your cookies, so you have to have cookies enabled. It doesn't always appear immediately on your account, but it should show in a couple of days. If it doesn't you just email Quidco support to open up a dispute with the retailers payment.

After that you can see "tracked", "validated", "received", "paid" on the right hand side of your Quidco account. Click "show all" and then you can see exactly where you are in relation to the 4 stages shown above ( You need to assign a paypal account or bank account for them to pay you).

Thx ordered
Heat for the deal and rep for the nonsense you had to endure :)

Lee maybe you should reread and think about what you're about to post before you hit the submit reply tab, you really don't do yourself any favours.

voted hot, great deal IMHO - would buy one myself but I've got too many USB drives at the moment and already have the movie on blu-ray.

Ok, this is going to sound like a stupid question but I promise it isnt!
What is the actual size of the memory stick when it shows up in your computer? I have a number of 4GB sticks and the actual size displayed seems to vary between 3.7GB to 3.8GB.
I'm trying to find a '4GB' memory stick put a 3.74GB ubuntu image for my joggler and wondered if this may be big enough? If someone who has already bought could put this USB into their computer and look at the size for me then it would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

This is usually due to the way GB is used in computing terms compared to when advertising things like memory sticks. 4GB (meaning 4 billion bytes) translates to around 3.72GB in computing terms so it's not likely your file will fit on this.

Some of the space is taken up with info about partitions, filesystem, etc.

And an exciting one too, afterall I'm here with you posting in a Star Trek thread.

Good quality and good value product, my only issue is that I cannot get the movie to play unless I am connected to the internet :-(

I have gone through the procedure of installing the DivX software and then redeeming the movie via the startrek movie website. so it should play when I am not connected.

Any suggestions or links that can help ?
