I paid about £38 for the separate I-VI and VII-X boxsets from Amazon a month or so ago, so I reckon this is pretty hot!

Update: As a poster noted, it's been reduced further from £34.85 (the price at which I originally posted this) to £31.85

Would be helpful to specify in the title what format this is?

VHS, DVD or Blu-Ray........

I think the application of some Vulcan logic would rule out VHS (obsolete) and Blu (not a chance at that price)

failing that the "tag" says DVD Boxset

Is this not Star Trek 111 - X rather than 1 - X ?? - Enterprise edition

The review only includes III-X, but the bullet-pointed listing below includes 'The Motion Picture' (I) and 'The Wrath of Khan' (II). Furthermore, I was alerted to it by find-dvd.co.uk's pricewatch http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/dvd/Star-Trek-Films-1-10-Remastered-Special-Edition-Box-Set/1096462.htm which links to Amazon's entry for what it believes is the same product: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002KKCVXC/****************

I got the two seperate boxes instead because I suspected that this one was in some weird box/case, I don't like non-standard dvd cases because they sometimes don't fit in my cabinets.

Also, every time they re-release it they probably remaster or "enhance" it in some way and I don't think that's good, the space scenes on the remastered original series looked pathetic, the series was done in the 60s, computer generated/enhanced ships and planets really don't fit in, just in the same way I don't like the film that came out this year or the Enterprise series....it looks too modern and I found it really difficult to convince myself it was set pre-Kirk. They should have filmed the new film in the same style as the first one haha

You're absolutely right, and with the original cast too.

Is there a model of the Star ship in the box?

Nope

Hmmmm, Find DVD seem to be showing 2 different products - the 1-10 boxset and this the Enterprise films boxset.

And the pictures of the product vary wildly across suppliers.

Other older box sets of all 10 films seem to be still Very expensive - yet this one is a ridiculously good bargain given the listed release date.

All makes me concerned as to what I'd get if I ordered...

well spotted - quality

Is this one of those funky lenticular boxes where it looks like the ship is floating inside?
