Plus the horror channel and CBS action, but the quality of the blu ray transfer is supposed to be awesome.

I just got the last season for Christmas and I can honestly say that the Bluray quality is pretty amazing. Worth it for the picture and the sound if you have a decent surround system. All the brand new extras are really good, too.

Got Enterprise too. I just hope they do DS9 next, even though I have them all on DVD.

Didn't like Wesley with his jumpers and how he ended up a traveller but he is good on the Big Bang Theory.

CBS action has them on daily.

Even though this is a great box set I can not vote as a hot deal at that price, it's still very overpriced.

Will they do a Voyager Blu-Ray?

Will they do a Voyager Blu-Ray?

Anything is possible but I wouldn't hold your breath, don't forget they ended Voyager early to make Enterprise - good move! (_;)

How can a significant price reduction & then cheaper than anywhere else not be a hot deal oO

This is on Netflix, although not great quality. I have really enjoyed watching this, just wish they would be the last season 7 on.

is this blueray quality and especially full hd video resolution, too good to be true considering when it was filmed!

Voyager got 7 full seasons, same as TNG and DS9.

If it was shot on film rather than video there's no reason why it couldn't be remastered to a suitable standard.

You do know that Bluray is just a way to digitise and represent more information that couldn't be stored on smaller digital mediums like DVD. Even if it is from film it will still be far better than the original broadcast, VHS or DVD quality.

It's one of the most ambitious remastering projects to date, every episode has had its CGI recreated from scratch, and footage restored from the original film negatives. In places they've even found better alternate takes which weren't in the original broadcast episodes, and fixed a lot of the classic bloopers from the originals. (Some seriously nerdy improvements, e.g. there was an episode where the Starfleet motto was misspelled, that's been repaired in the remaster)

Here's a video showing the changes from just one episode.

It's a serious labour of love, and I highly reommend it.

I know Dr Z but even the finale felt rushed, we didn't really see the voyager crew physically return to earth in the present day timeline, just a parting shot of voyager in orbit.

It might have been the best price around then, but it's still poor value for money IMHO. It'll come down, or I'll just watch the re-masters on Syfy instead.
