Frankie and Johnny (1991) was being filmed in the same studio, and required Al Pacino to have a surprised expression on his face after opening a door. Director Garry Marshall arranged for Kirk (William Shatner) and Spock (Leonard Nimoy) be on the other side of the door that Pacino opened.

After filming was through one day nearing the end of production, Kim Cattrall posed nude for some steamy photos on the bridge set, but Leonard Nimoy happened on scene and seized the film, destroying it and having studio security toss the photographer out.

"To be, or not to be" in Klingon is "taH pagh, taH be'".

Brilliant price!

Not the best of the Trek films, but still a good one! 4th best in my book.
#3
Far from the worst in the franchise (Star Trek 5 anybody?) and easily worth a quid.

Would even appeal to those who like whodunnits......I thought it was quite clever how the storyline panned out.

It's the same director as my fave Star Trek - The wrath of Khan. Thankfully they stopped William Shatner from directing a second one.

It goes like this from BEST TO WORST...

1. First Contact - action, comedy, pure emotion, Star Trek history, Picard 'the line must be drawn here', Worf 'If you were any other man', the real Borg. The Music. THE BEST.

2. Wrath of Khan - the best of the original, "KAAAAAAAAAHN". The death of a Legend. Tense action. The Ceti eel...amazing...

3. Star Trek (2009) - a great action movie for fans and non fans alike.

4. Undiscovered Country - Sets the scene for TNG, and end to something that was building up throughout TOS. Ruined by PINK Klingon Blood.

5. Generations - as much as people hate, it is still a great film. Partially ruined by an unfitting death to another Legend.

6. Voyage Home. Good 80's feel even though it doesn't always feel 'Trek'.

7. Search for Spock. Ok, big hole to fill for the majority of the movie.

8. Nemesis - good action. Dissapointed how they handled Picard. A movie about Picard and Data really.

9. Final Frontier - ok, silly moments, but good.

10. Insurrection - glorified TNG episode.

11. The Motion Picure. Didn't quite hit home.

Mmmm you got me thinking now!

Wrath of Khan#1
Voyage home for #2
Search for Spock #3
and this for #4 I'd say.
and Final Frontier #5

The Patrick Stewart ones are ok, but the cross over (Generations) was a bit dire imo. Lt. Data is funny though

5. Generations - as much as people hate, it is still a great film.

It's not. It's really really not.

OK, it's alright until they CHOOSE TO COME OUT OF THE NEXUS AT THAT POINT IN SPACE AND TIME. :x Utterly retarded, Kirk surely qualifies for a Darwin Award for that decision.

pretty much spot on though I'd have wrath of khan 1st with the 2009 2nd then undiscovered country, then 1st contact.

undiscovered country for a quid is a great deal. voted hot.

Kirk isn't entitled to a Darwin award. His son may be dead, but he has still had a child.

better than 1st contact, star trek VI and the Voyage home?

I assume you mean Star Trek XI there, cos undiscovered country *is* number 6. And yes, it's significantly better than first Contact, light-years better than Voyage home, and i've not seen the new one, but frankly it looks appalling.

For me, my list would go:

Equal 1st and 2nd: Wrath of Khan & Undiscovered Country.
3rd First Contact
4th Voyage Home
5th Search for Spock
6th Generations
Equal 7th 8th and 9th: Motion Picture, Insurrection and Nemesis. Hard to seperate how bad these 3 are.
last place: Final Frontier. there's no excuse for how bad this one is.

You should give the new film a go, it's actually awesome!

I thought I'd hate it but it really is an excellent Trek film.

Really disappointed with the new Star Trek film. To me it was aimed at a new generation of teenagers and perhaps a new franchise. All the characters just seemed over the top caricatures of themselves, especially Kirk.
